I really appreciate that I don't worry about injuring myself because they are there to correct my form. The environment is welcoming to people of all athletic and fitness backgrounds. In 45-minute workouts I get my heart rate up, I feel stronger, and I leave with more energy. Highly recommend!!!”

“I have been going to Carina’s for 3 years now. My session is an hour and starts with 10 minutes of cardio, followed by core, then arms/legs etc. A few people come in every half hour and so there ends up being around 3-6 people working out at any given time. But she prescribes different exercises for each person based on your individual strength and needs. I started going here toward the end of the pandemic because she diligently wipes down all the machine after each person uses it. One of the best things about Carina’s is she creates a very friendly and social environment. It’s the reason I have been so consistent about my two times per week! Everyone enjoys talking to each other and I look forward to catching up with my new friends all the time! She offers sessions Mon/Wed evenings and most mornings.”

“My son had been asking me to put him in self defense classes and I came across ATA! I went in and spoke to Cynthia, she is one of the owners. She was super informative and had a lot of useful information about Muy Thai. Her husband Josh is the head coach/trainer. They offered one free class and we definitely took advantage of it. The environment is super clean, highly organized and friendly atmosphere. My son was immediately comfortable as Josh worked him individually on the fundamentals. Needless to say, I signed my son up for classes 3 times a week and they were super affordable. My son has been attending for a while now and I definitely have noticed a positive change in his confidence and overall personality. I would definitely recommend sending your kids or yourself for classes. I actually attend as well for the exercise and I absolutely love it!”

“I love Breakthru Fit Training Studio's small group training!! Its always a great workout with lots of variety. I have always found it to be a friendly atmosphere with the right balance of challenge, support and community so you can meet your fitness goals.There are plenty of weights and equipment along with plenty of room. There's also a large outdoor patio space that is used for part of the workout. I really appreciate the opportunity to be outdoors and the variety it provides. Phil is an amazing and knowledgable trainer who always motivates you to do your best and challenge yourself.The location is super convenient, clean, bright and the parking is incredibly easy. “When I began looking to rejoin Curves after many, many years, I found this club in Pasadena.I made an appointment to come in and have a complementary workout and see how I like the place. I must admit that the club looked dated and worn out. I was really considering leaving without joining when I met Sharon.Sharon is the new owner who took over recently after the past owner died. Sharon owns another Curves and knows how this franchise needs to be operated. She took me through my paces and got a really good sweat going. Then she told me about her plans for the club. I was still considering leaving, but something about Sharon's determined spirit convinced me to join.I have been a member since late April 2023 and Sharon has been true to her word. I don't even recognize the place because she's made so many positive changes. The place is really beautiful and she's not done yet!!!The other members are so friendly and I always get out of my workout what I put in. The staff is encouraging and always ready to help.I am so glad I decided to join this Curves. I have lost 10 pounds and several inches from all over my body since joining. Curves is still the very best gym for my success and I am so thankful it's still here and thriving!”

“If you’re looking for an excellent workout, with undoubtable results, with an excellent, intuitive, super-informed and flexible coach, in a totally unpretentious and friendly gym, then this is the place for you.Jesse oversees several people (usually between 2 and 6 people at a time) doing his intelligently and carefully designed one-hour workouts that include weight lifting of many varieties, calisthenics and cardio. How he manages to keep track of everyone’s needs (folks who are at different ages, fitness levels, etc) is beyond my comprehension but he does it easily and with aplomb.Participants range in age for their 20s up to 70s. The gym is not a ‘scene’ it is down-to-earth and folks are genuinely nice and respectful and just going their thing.I cannot recommend this class more highly. I hate working out and I always will (it’s just one of those things for me, I’m afraid!) but coming here, with all the super nice folks, and Jesse especially, and seeing and feeling the results, makes me hate it way less than ever before!”

Huge difference in my cardio vascular health - that even my doctors gave me feedback on changes in my health. The workouts are all very challenging yet really fun and they vary the workouts throughout the week. The coaches/trainers are all very supportive to your fitness goals and are dedicated to helping you reach those goals - they also have classes on healthy nutrition. love both coach Ralph and coach Christian! “I joined this gym with no intention of working with a personal trainer, and now I’m writing this review to rave about one. Anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, yet challenging fitness instructor should sign up with Michael Gilliam. He introduces new and effective ways to target specific muscle groups and uses his Muay Thai expertise to offer clients an exciting kickboxing component. After each session, I feel sore enough to know I got a terrific workout, but not so sore that I can’t function. Overall, Michael’s personable demeanor and well developed sense of kinesthetics makes him an excellent fitness coach.The cherry on top, this gym is super clean and staffed with the friendliest people. Everyone really just minds their own business and works out. It’s great.”

My only wish was more foam rollers/mats for warmups/cool downs.”
