“Clean room and friendly lady in the front desk, who provides us what we need. Great breakfast and cozy cafeteria. We had a great time staying here. Would come back again next time. There is only one minor thing : We’ve got only one tube(50ml I guess?)of shampoo for three of us for two days’ stay.We brought our own shampoo anyway?”

“Ii traveled for business. The stay was a pleasure. The breakfast was worth the cost. The bar does have limited meal options but food places in walking distance. The parking charge per night was a little much being I am paying to stay but ok. The staff are kind and very helpful from the front desk to housekeeping.”
“The host can speak Chinese and is from Taiwan. I feel friendly. I stayed here for one night on the last day of 2023 during the New Year's Eve and watched the New Year's Day float parade. The breakfast was delicious and endless. After watching the float parade, you can come back to eat. The price is expensive, but the location is perfect in the cold winter. It’s worth spending the night in a warm room”
“Based on my recent experiences staying in various motels and hotels in Arcadia and East Pasadena area, this Best Western inn provides the most balance of comfort, convenience, and cost. If it weren't for the inadequate bathtub drain in my room and unsatisfactory experience with lobby counter staff, I would've bumped this review up to 5 stars based on the value. ・Price The $100~120 post-Covid price range for a single person was reasonable, considering that even bare-minimum budget motels in this area costs $90~100 a night. Note that there's another BW Royale Inn right next door which has the higher $150~200 price point, so be sure not to get these two BWs mixed up when booking. ・Room Very clean room, furnitures in good shape. Comfortable soft king-size bed. Room lighting is not too dim. Closet comes with many hangers, ironing board, clothes iron No pests spotted during 5-day stay. Nightstand lamps have outlets and USB ports. Functional air conditioner, small fridge, and cable TV. Wifi was at least adequate for watching 1080p Youtube live streams. Towels were soft and very well-stocked. Two tissue boxes, one by nightstand and one at the sink. Two trash cans. Bathroom was adequate and supplied with soap, conditioner, and shampoo. I might've been unlucky because the bathtub's drain in my room didn't work very well and kept getting clogged by my long hair strands. The drain also doesn't close fully, so the tub itself had trouble holding in bathwater. ・Amenities Free parking with ample spaces in the lot, though the more convenient side gate on the small street is closed at night. No vagrants or loud noises aside from street traffic. The complementary continental breakfast has decent selection: scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, cereals, orange juice, coffee, orange, apple, banana, yogurt, small pancake maker, toasted waffles and bread, packaged danishes and muffins. No bacon or ham. 2% milk only; no soy milk if you're lactose-intolerant like me. The breakfast staff was very friendly and attentive. She was the most pleasant staff member I interacted with at this inn. There was a sizable swimming pool, which I didn't use. Laundry room's washer and dryer charged very reasonable fees comparable to laundromats, and of course detergent costs extra. No exercise room, which I didn't need. ・Service Don't expect the lobby staff to voluntarily ask or tell you anything. If you want any sort of AAA discount or even BW's own membership offers, you must ask about them yourself. For whatever reason, I wasn't allowed to reserve multiple days in advance at the lobby counter and was repeatedly told at the counter I had to book everyday in order to extent my stay. It wasn't until this inn had no vacancy left that I found out I could've booked multiple days if I had done so through BW's website. Needless to say, I was quite irked that none of the lobby receptionists bothered to inform me of this even though I had already expressed my desire to stay longer. ・Location Good location near the 210 freeway, convenient for driving to Universal Studio or Rose Bowl. Somewhat close to the nearest Metro rail station that connects to Downtown LA. Several restaurant options within 15~30 mins walking distance. Within reasonable driving distance to Old Town Pasadena or Arcadia Mall and racetrack.”

“Just celebrated my birthday at the Afternoon Tea room with a group of girlfriends. We had a lovely time; the food and tea was excellent, and the room itself is like something out of a fairytale (like the rest of the property). There was a wide selection of savory and sweet foods, each of them equally tasty. My only hesitation to leave a 5 star review was because of the service; it took about 3 times of asking for our waitress to bring water to the table, and wished she had been a bit more attentive to us in general. Granted - it was a busy afternoon with other large parties to attend to, and she did her best while working somewhere that's understaffed. Otherwise, the restaurant was managed well, clean, and had the perfect ambiance for small and large parties alike. They also had us seated near the harpist, bonus points for that too!”
“Spent the Day for my birthday with my family and grandkids ?❣️
Was so beautiful and peaceful!
Loved the waterfalls! My favorite ❤️ I'm definitely going back soon!”
“Wowwww, where to begin! SoCal is home, but currently live in MD (spouse is in the military). My job is still in LA and they have me come back for in person stuff occasionally, so where I stay at is super important as I want to enjoy the time I have when I come back. My job booked this hotel for me for a couple days and I LOVED every minute I was here. Parking is super easy via a garage that's connected to the hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated and has a nice calming vibe to it. There's even a tranquil feeling courtyard that's perfect for getting some fresh air.
The king room my worked had booked was nothing short of amazing. First off, the bathroom is HUGE by itself. Seriously the size of your standard hotel room! It has a separate bath and shower and plenty of lighting. The room included tons of really cool mood lighting and a couple different sitting areas. The bed was beyond comfy. I didn't once feel cramped and all of the extra open space was definitely appreciated. Id have to say do that, this has probably been one of my absolute favorite hotels I've stayed at. I will 100% be staying here again and very much look forward to it.”

“We arranged a block of rooms for a wedding and stayed at the Westin Pasadena for about 11 nights. Right from the beginning, we were surprised at the favorable rates we got for the rooms. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. Our guests commented that they were very pleased with the value as well as the accommodations. The location is great, and the staff were all friendly and eager to please. Special shout out to Devon, the Executive Meeting Manager who managed our room block. Not enough superlatives to do her justice! We and our guests had wonderful experiences with this hotel. Highly recommend!
Walkability: Easy walk to Old Pasadena and many restaurants and businesses along Colorado Ave. and the side streets.”

“The housekeeping, clerk, and maintenance person are all good-natured, helpful, and respectful people. The property is clean and functional.
Rooms: The rooms are well-kept. Air conditioning works satisfactorily, and attendants are friendly!
Noteworthy details: Several guests, including myself, were asked to check out today, collectively cognizant of the dynamics of GREED! Not acceptable business practices. Wow!”
“My first experience here was not good, but I have to change my rating. I have had no problems in the week that I've been here. Quite the opposite. It's been peaceful. It's a great location.”
“The hotel manager was very friendly and flexible! Conflicting information online had led me to believe that continental breakfast and a pool were available, which was not true. The manager was very understanding about this confusion and upgraded my room at no charge. It was also very easy to access help at all hours. There was also no issue when I wanted to extend my stay.”

“I know how important hotel reviews are when deciding to book, so want to give credit where credit is due. This was a great place to stay given its price. Got really great sleep on their bed and the room was pretty big also. The free parking is definitely a plus.
Things were quiet at night and definitely never felt in danger or concerned. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay!”

“Elizabeth is such an awesome person.. We arrived after being delayed from traffic and arriving at 3:30am. She got us checked in and up to our room with no issues and such professionalism.. Great hotel, my family and I will stay again for sure...”
“We had great service Tomme the manager and Simone the night clerk both so friendly
Simone even made us a little extra Coffee Bag and left for us at Desk
Great little extra touch!
Rooms have newer floors than pictures show
We will definitely stay there again next time
Would love to watch Rose Bowl Parade there sometime!”
“Rooms are in good enough condition to stay comfortably. Their are no bedbugs, roaches, or rats which I'm my opinion is the most important determing factor about overall hotel quality. The housekeeping services are minimal. The housekeepers are few in numbers and keep to themselves for the mostly, so basic room needs are pretty much taken care of by your own self for the most part. Unless you ask someone that is. I just totally fine by me pretty much most other tenants it seems. This may be largely due to the fact that most of the tenants seem to be staying for a prolonged period of time. The biggest downfall all in all seems to simply be the location of the hotel itself. There's nothing nearby what's so ever. You would definitely need a car or some kind of transportation due to the fact that there is absolutely nothing in walking distance of the hotel.
Rooms: Clean & simple.
Walkability: Nothing within walking distance of the hotel what so ever.”

“Rodeway Inn, Pasadena, offers a 5 star hotel experience at an affordable price, in a 2 star motel.
Kal offers great rates, for both long term, and short term stays.. All staff, including housekeepers, are aimable, and very accommodating.
Motel, has a lot with in walking distance, and is conveniently located to serval freeway entrances.
I would definitely recommend this motel, and you have to try the jacuzzi sweet!
I would give motel an A, to this motel taking all aspects into consideration.
Walkability: There is a lot within walking distance.. a 7 Eleven, KFC, Public Storage, several gas stations, a laundry mat, Vons, and CVS.”

“Overall, my stay was good. The complimentary breakfast was very enjoyable and a great way to start the day. The hotel is in a decent, safe area, which I appreciated. My only concern was the condition of the seating furniture in the room, it was quite dirty. I would actually suggest replacing the seating furniture altogether, as it really took away from the overall comfort. With that improvement, the experience could be much better.”

“The Langham Huntington is such a beautiful hotel that is hidden, as it is surrounded by a residential area. I have visited this hotel twice during this month. I came earlier this month for a conference and then I came back with my husband and our little girl dog to walk the grounds and have a nice meal (both The Hideaway Pool Bar and The Terrance are dog friendly, both by the pool. And yes this hotel is also dog friendly in which you may bring your dogs with you when you stay, for an additional fee). Both visits were enjoyable and the staff I interacted with were very friendly and always ready to provide any help or answer any questions if I had any. Staff were also always in smiles when they saw me with my little girl. We enjoyed walking through and taking photos in the Japanese Garden and also in the Horseshoe Garden after lunch. We also enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the tap room, which has a lovely view of the Horseshoe Garden. Most of the hotel was very beautiful, however part of the hotel currently is under construction, with a new pool that will be added and won't be open until later this year. When I came for a conference, it was held in one of the ballrooms. It was nice that each chair came with one of The Langham Huntington's pretty pink pens and notepads for note taking (I saw that other conference attendees took those pink pens when the conference was over from empty chairs). Since this conference was an all day event, breakfast and lunch was provided. I enjoyed the food options that the conference had chosen and thought the food was good overall (although there was a mushroom soup that was very salty that I did not like). The nearby restrooms downstairs from the ballroom were always very clean. As for parking, for day visits, it is rather expensive. Valet seemed to be the only option in which it cost $25. However I was very fortunate for the conference that I attended to have valet included (the conference I attended was sponsored by a large company in which I didn't have to pay for anything). And I was also very lucky to receive an extra validation from the conference to have another day of free validation (which is why I came here for another visit with my husband and our little girl). Overall, I had a great experience with both of these very different visits and am glad that I was able to bring my dog and my husband with me on the last one.”
