βAJ is an excellent and trusted mechanic. Weβre glad to have him in the neighborhood. Whether a flat tire or more complicated issues, heβs quick and very well priced. Weβve stopped taking our Toyota and BMW to the dealers and now go to AJ for servicing needs. Our relatively low-mileage Toyota SUV recently developed a shake while driving, which was only exasperated by an expensive and botched repair by the dealer; AJ diagnosed and fixed the problem within hours of dropping in for an extremely fair price. We will be back!β
βI love chipping in to support local Mom and Pop shops. Great selection of local honey and beeswax products and they can even tell you about the places where it's harvested! Their new "cafe" is fun too. Good strong coffee. Love it!β
βNice, very clean, and new! The only thing I would change is the hours! I wish they opened earlier. I would rent a storage unit for tools, but 9:30 AM is just too late to have to go for work tools. They would probably get more contractors. The hours are kind of a turn-off.β

βBelieve it or not this is one of the safest places that I will get gas from in East Oakland. The price is always the most competitive prices in the bay area. I never felt any type of way about going here they are nice. You might wait for a pump that's because everyone is buying gas.β

βCheapist gas in San Leandro. Not cheap as in bad but cheap as in bang for your buck. Pumps are always operational and they have a hand car wash station. Highly recommended.β
βWow this is probably my best experience with an auto repair shop ever. Waheed is personable and super helpful! I asked him to do a couple small extra things in addition to the regular maintenance and not only did he do them at no extra charge he also got me some touch up paint and said he'd use it on a scuffed area do for me also without charge. He even remembered I was heading to the airport when I dropped off my car and parked the car so as to minimize the distance I'd have to walk when I got back. I'm glad to have him in the neighborhood!β
βI love Costco! I've only used their gas for the last ten years. I usually buy the basics like dairy, eggs, toilet paper, avocados at Costco before I go other places because the prices are almost, 100% of the time, better. Always buy my electronics from Costco. I get cash back annually with the Executive card, so in the end it doesn't cost extra to have it.β

βIf youβre looking for a trustworthy, no-BS mechanic in Oakland, this is it. Itβs a long-running family-owned shop thatβs easy to miss if youβre new to the area, but theyβve clearly been doing this for a long time.
I brought in both my 2004 Honda S2000 and my 2008 C63 AMG for maintenance and repairs. These arenβt exactly βeasyβ cars to work on, and Iβm very picky about who touches them. The team handled everything with care, kept communication clear, and gave me honest, reasonable quotes with no surprises.
Solid work, fair pricing, and great service. Highly recommend.β

βI was recommended to bring my car down after a trip up north to a natural hot spring for a thorough exterior cleaning. My friend recommended them because they have a $40 a month unlimited car wash membership plus discounted services like detailing and interior cleaning.
I arrived at 11:25 AM and was ready to roll off the lot by 11:45 AM. They did what wouldβve taken me over an hour in exactly 20 minutes! That includes signing up for the membership and the actual washing of the car.
Iβm glad that I made this investment because I will now regularly come down to have the car clean and feel rest assured that the quality and consistency of cleanliness will be kept. The team was friendly and worked diligently.
I highly recommend Splash Brothers car wash for anyone who wants an affordable way to look good on the road without the effort of pulling a bucket full of hot soapy, water around your car and wet up your clothes (unless youβre into that thing, then show up on a Sunday where you can self service with your own products and their amenities).

My favorite is the melon and watermelon and guava flavor drink mixed together and the horchata.. prices went up a little but it's worth the extra cents?β
βBest car wash in the bay area. I usually pick the "Superior wash" with Tire and wheel cleaning 18.00$. They're always friendly and give you a pretty good hand wash while you wait to go in, and then afterwards they go over each tire and wheel and hand dry your entire car while they do it. Always deserving of a good tip in my opinion.β
βI popped a tire on 580 and limped into this station. First the staff turned on the air, and then when it became apparent that I had to put on the spare, they produced a jack -- and then insisted on coming out to help, brought a mat so we had a dry place to kneel (it was raining) and then made sure the spare was on tightly and helped me get it up to the right pressure. Their kindness made what could have been a scary and stressful situation perfectly manageable. I really appreciate it, and am so grateful. I'll be making a point of stopping in for gas and snacks. These guys are great.β

βI just visit this Gas Station because of two facts: the amazing customer service and the very cheap gas price.The star missing in my review is because I was there and one of the pumps wasnβt working and didnβt have the sign. I went inside, I payed for the gas, and the guy told me: βAre you sure you want gas on number x.β So he wasnβt sure what was happening in the pump. Then I went out just to find that the nozzle was gone. I had to come back inside and I asked the guy to move my credit to another pump. I asked the one on the front for easier movement. βThat one doesnβt work either.β So I had to move to another pump.Anyways, if you have time and limited money, go there. A peasant like me is very pleased to find this wonderful cheap places where we can survive in this tumultuous adventure of life.β
βThe Mobil stn on San Pablo Dam Road, El Sobrante (Faraz), is our go-to gas station for premium for our BMW. Our car runs smoothly using Mobil. My wish at this time is for the owner to participate with the Upside app so that customers could earn cash back for purchases here, and it doesn't matter whether cash, credit, or debit is used. The savings could be $.70/gallon. It is allowed with Arco, Shell, and 76 and others. Mobil should participate.β
