“This is a review of the Meat Dept. and esp. of one employee, Ish, who helped me choose different prepped grill kabobs! All were GREAT and his service was FANTASTIC - friendly, professional and more than courteous! You don't often meet employees at grocery stores (and others, like Dept. Stores) who seem genuinely happy to be there and help serve the customers.”
“My go to farmers market even though there are others closer to me. The strawberries are the best!! And there are specialty food vendors also, local granola, filipino food, seafood, hummus, tamales, honey, eggs, kettle korn, fresh bread, stuffed donuts, and some other rotating vendors in addition to the fresh fruits and veggies. There’s a bank right on the corner if you need to get cash. You can have brunch nearby at Pear St Bistro, Sues Cafe, Tina’s Place. Or even get dim sum across the street at King Valley. Parking can sometimes be difficult due to all that may be going on, especially if there are church events at the same time.”

Great customer service, great selection. Friendly staffs, has snacks, drinks, grocery items, including Indian grocery items, cigarettes, beer and bunch of other items. Lotto, lottery, ATM services also. And cheaper than most of the other store.”
“Been shopping at this store for a few years. Low prices compared with the other stores. A lot of items don't display item prices at the shelves for customers to choose. A lot lot items close to expiry dates. That said, positives outweigh negatives.”
“I want to recognize an employee for providing excellent customer service. I believe his name was Anthony or Jonathan. He is an older gentleman who was working when I visited the store.
I asked him where the dry ice was, and he was incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. Instead of just pointing me in the direction, he took the time to explain exactly where to find it and made sure I was able to get what I needed an also made sure he explained how to safely handle the dry ice. His friendly attitude and willingness to help really stood out and made my shopping experience much better.
Customer service like his doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you for having such a wonderful and courteous employee on your team!”

“This is my go to trader Joe's..the lines are better than the El Cerrito plaza one. The workers here are super friendly and kind. They are always willing to help me and are very flexible and understanding about returns. I love how Accommodating and kind they all are. I have not encountered a single rude worker here. Everyone here has been super nice and they have a wide selection of things to and all of my favorites are always in stock. Unlike the El Cerrito one that is always out of stuff . As long as Iive in the area I will go here”
