“I enjoy this location because it's on your way to the Bay area and not too far away from the freeway. We usually stop to load up on snacks for the airport. Thai chili almonds and dried mangos are our favorites.”

“My go to farmers market even though there are others closer to me. The strawberries are the best!! And there are specialty food vendors also, local granola, filipino food, seafood, hummus, tamales, honey, eggs, kettle korn, fresh bread, stuffed donuts, and some other rotating vendors in addition to the fresh fruits and veggies. There’s a bank right on the corner if you need to get cash. You can have brunch nearby at Pear St Bistro, Sues Cafe, Tina’s Place. Or even get dim sum across the street at King Valley. Parking can sometimes be difficult due to all that may be going on, especially if there are church events at the same time.”

“Great store, friendly, helpful staff, and had everything I was looking for. I couldn't walk past the deli without picking up some fried chicken. It was a great price, fresh and delicious. I'll definitely be stopping by again.”

“I work for a non-profit that performs litter abatement on our highways. Our crews meet up daily for a pit-stop at the Safeway in Walnut Creek, and we typically take our breaks and lunches at one of the many Safeways in Contra Costa County, including Concord, Orinda, and Pleasant Hill.

We work hard, and sometimes our work is dangerous. We really appreciate the Safeway chain because the stores are so convenient, there are always great deals for members, and the Starbucks kiosks are so handy for when we're out of energy and in need of a boost later in the day.

I've never had a bad experience at Safeway.”

“Very large selection. I liken this to discount Costco. This reminds me of the old Cub Foods nack east in the 80's. IYKYK. Only problem was the lines to check out took over 15 minutes to reach the cashier.”
