“This place is growing on me. When I first moved over here from Shell Beach, OSH was not my first choice, despite being very close to my house. Over time, though, I can say that I love this place. They have cheap stuff and upper tier tools and supplies, so I have a choice. Most recently, I’ve discovered the nursery and a guy name Shawn who works there. He’s the perfect combination of super knowledgeable and helpful. Can’t say enough good things about him. OSH is now actually my surprising go to.”

“Lee Anna and Sarah are the best at what they do. I have used them on four different projects over the years, and they have always met or exceeded my expectations. (and I’ve been accused of being a perfectionist). On my latest project, I will confess that I checked out a local “box store” with very nice cabinet displays. My budget was very tight, and their prices were a little bit less than San Luis Kitchen Co. However, when I factored in the total usable space I would get, San Luis Kitchen Company was actually less expensive! The “box store” had “fake drawers” that did not open and cabinet space that could not be used! Sarah is an expert at giving you as much useable space as possible. The contractors they recommend for installation have always done an excellent job as well. I highly recommend San Luis Kitchen Co without reservation.”

“Amazing service and quality from Phillips Flooring America in SLO. We had a great experience with Randy who patiently explained all the different options for our remodel…walking us through every detail. The communication, installation, and finished project were top notch and we are absolutely thrilled with our luxury vinyl plank floors in our Los Osos house. Just excellent to work with from start to finish .”

“5 Star! Another contractor was trying to swap our cabinet hinges but ran into issues. Wells woodworks came to the rescue! They knew exactly how to fix the issues. Great work at a fair price!”

“Great service. I recently needed parts for a faucet purchased eight years ago. Michael took my information and quickly ordered the parts. He called a couple days later when they arrived. We will be back in the future. Top quality fixtures.”

“I’m in the middle of a home renovation and went to Tileco to get information on tile and help in choosing it. I worked with Macy the first time I went in and found her to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. When I went back again another time Macy wasn’t there but I worked with Ashley. She was amazing! Her energy was high and her efforts were huge! She put out so much to help me, even as much as putting my choices in a Google doc for my reference. I’m so impressed with the willingness to help customers in this store. There’s a positive feel here — I highly recommend people to shop here. And the tile is beautiful!! Lots of great choices! Thank you for the positive experience Ashley and Macy!”

“As a DIY woman, I can't recommend this place enough. If I went into Home Depot with a question, it would never be answered. At Ferguson's I felt so comfortable and like everyone was rooting for me to complete my leaky shower fix...even to the point of helping me figure out what parts I needed to complete the project and giving me advice. I will NEVER go to HD for a plumbing issue again.”

“After hearing too many horror stories about contractors not delivering, the best description of Kitchen and Bath Works is: Dream Team. Erika, Jerry and their incredible team combine every single advantage possible to give you the best value, quality and peace of mind for your remodel. They're the time-tested best kept secret on the Central Coast because they're too busy to market themselves. The experience is both affordable, ethical, and as easy as it gets. They will hold your hand through every decision. The project won't start until all materials are ready to go. This means you're minimally impacted by something that normally might be an invasive, disruptive process. When they're working on your job, you'll be their top priority. They'll save you money by avoiding the mistakes you're sure to make without their experiences. All this for a price that's unbelievably affordable. It's basically a labor of love for them. They simply can't do anything but their absolute best work for you. You're guaranteed three things: You won't be sorry you hired them. You will be if you don't. You'll send me flowers every year when it's done. You're welcome.”

“We were the first customers for a new line at ProSource: Custom Closets. As this was a new vendor for them, there were some hiccups along the way. They were very upfront about this, and we were patient with the delivery delays and installation requirements. But you know what reassures a customer that a business is legit? That they are transparent, and they go to some extra lengths after the sale to be sure we are happy. And we are! They chose a good vendor that uses a computer interface to create the closet design based on measurements that the ProSource sales person took at our home. The quality is amazing. They set us up with a good installer who did good work for a reasonable price. You will find them to be reasonable and they will listen to the customer.”

“First time visit today with my daughter, lots of overpriced TJ max items minus the clothing. Overall had fun looking around, some clearance items also. I found a good deal on bamboo cooking utensils. That's it.”

“I want to commend the Williams-Sonoma store in SLO for such excellent customer service. My Breville Oracle died two days ago after 16 years of service. Clearly the landscape has changed a lot since I bought my original Oracle so I wanted to actually touch and feel what my options were. I first went in after doing my online research (including the NYT Wirecutter recommendations and America's Test Kitchen) and felt I would be best served with a Breville Barista Touch. I went to my local Williams-Sonoma and checked out the options including other Breville machines and competitors options, which is something Amazon or Walmart just can't offer to you. I bought the Breville Barista and when I got home and started to set it up, I knew quickly it was a major step down from my prior experiences with the Breville Oracle. I took the machine back the next day and worked with Courtney, one of the many positive sales associates, and we tested probably five different machines, some which were in stock and some that would have to be shipped to me. I settled on the Oracle Jet Espresso Machine and brought it home. The set up was smooth except for one thing, the machine was not drawing water from the tank, which limits the functionality of the machine ;-). So I called Courtney and she suggested I bring it back and we would try to triage what was wrong. Short answer to this long tale is that there was a air lock blocking the water getting from the water tank to the boiler so once she was able to clear this air lock, the espresso machine worked like the champ that I was looking for. This is why when you are looking for high quality tools and solutions you can not rely on the on-line retailers like Amazon and Walmart and instead need to visit your Williams-Sonoma store if what you are looking for is in the culinary arena. I strongly recommend to my friends, family and associates Williams-Sonoma and if you are looking for something in SLO also it is worth asking for Courtney when you visit the store.”
