As a business owner I know how important it is to keep your clients happy. And so those guys. They are polite, knowledgeable and won't hesitate to share their knowledge with you. Thanks to them we were able to catch a really good amount of fish's at the Delta even with horrible weather conditions. Their place is clean, we'll organized and have all you need for your fishing trip, and the most important thing is... Smile in their face from the moment they open the store at 5Am. Great job guys. “If you need sporting goods and you prefer excellent customer service I would definitely recommend this Big 5 Sporting Goods store on Clayton Rd. My young child and I walked in today and not only were we immediately greeted but the person behind the counter, Maile also asked if we needed any help finding anything, and then I saw a really cute hat as she was ringing me up for a swimming cap and she told her coworker that I was looking for one that I could adjust to fit better around my head. In the meantime, another customer had approached the counter and at the last minute I grabbed one more thing. Maile rung my items up and asked me if I wanted a bag. Then, she helped the other customer on the other side as her coworker tried appeasing me with other hat sizes. Every person working there seemed to have a smile and a FANTASTIC attitude!”

“I went in for the first time ever and shortly after entering the store, Melvin, a store associate, inquired if I needed assistance immediately. Melvin showed that he’s personable and friendly as I asked him if he could help me pick out some shoes that me and my girl could match. He pointed some kicks out and I was able to find some really sought after shoes for my lady the bred toe aj ones. I really liked my choice of kicks as well. It was all possible because of Melvin. Thanks. I look forward to coming back and finding some new merch.”
“Went to this store to pickup some sneakers for my children, lots of choices, big store. I would have given 5 starts but as large as this place is the air conditioner DEFINITELY should have been on. The young lady working was doing multiple jobs at once and you could see she was overwhelmed with little help. She definitely doesn't deserve to work in those ridiculously hot conditions nor does anyone else. I was in the store approximately 25 minutes and was dripping sweat. My kids were complaining too.”
“I have bought almost all my guns online and through my FFL. I came here knowing my Birthday was 12 days away and just wanted to see what they have. Ended up picking up a Bergara B-14 HMR Wilderness and a CZ SP-01. Needed a new long gun since my M700 is short and has a bit more blast and flash than I wanted and I already have a CZ P-01 and wanted a full size version. Selection was nice and more than I expected so it was easy to pick up two guns without having to search high and low. The prices for the guns were less than what I would have paid online so the value was there for sure. The CZ was cheaper and the Bergara is just hard to find anywhere except online and thus allowed me to hold and feel it. Service was excellent. Only hit is the wait but that is just staffing and the length of time it takes to buy a gun in CA. Still it was excellent service and the selection is pretty good. I recommend buying a gun from here if you are willing to wait. lol”
