I’m incredibly grateful for the team at Best Value Tire & Wheel. They squeezed us in with only about 30 minutes left before closing on very short notice, and still treated us like a priority instead of a problem.
They diagnosed and repaired what I believe was damaged wheel hub threads on my Subaru BRZ, installing new studs/threads quickly and correctly, and had us in and out of the shop in less than half an hour. The price for the repair was very fair, especially given the time crunch, and the quality of the work was excellent.
Everyone there was very friendly, explained what they were doing, and never tried to upsell anything. You can tell it’s a family owned business that genuinely cares about helping people, and that attitude really shows in the way they treat their customers.

“I guess I'm finally part of the stolen catalytic converter club. It happened Tuesday night somewhere between midnight and 5am. When I came out to my 2008 Toyota Tacoma truck, I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I turned the ignition and heard loud sound from the engine area. Immediately looked under the truck and yup, converter fully cut out. Now since I am new to all this, I looked for a mechanic shop that had good reviews, installed new converters, and would be close to my home in Yorba Linda. (I decided to drive the truck rather to them rather than tow it) I decided on Yorba Linda Auto Service. Im so glad I did. They were straight forward with there estimate, and explained everything so that I could understand what was needed to resolve the issue. They did great work, with a quick turn around (finished in 3 days). They even installed a fitted security shield over the converter to prevent future tampering. This was stressful, but I'm glad I had them to go to. Thank you.”

Our experiences cover a broad spectrum of services: from simple maintenance to custom work to aftermarket installs. Here is a partial list of the procedures we experienced at the shop: Routine maintenance: every fluid, brakes, belts etc. Repairs: axle seals, blown shocks, bent knuckles, CVs, tie rods, and more. Installs: suspension, wheels and tires. Other services: alignment, suspension rebuild .
Quality: it starts with the little things, the tell-tale signs: very few shops if any will torque your wheels to spec and not with a pneumatic tool. The same mindset will be carried on to every procedure; adhering to specs and paying attention to details is testament to a place that doesn’t cut corners.
Regardless of the procedure, the execution is clean. When all three of us had gusseted spindles and welded cam tab installed, I spent time under the cars inspecting each weld. They were all a pleasure to look at!
Integrity: you will get a diagnosis, and with it, an honest suggested course of action. If things do not require immediate replacement, you will be informed accordingly. If you come with a more complex issue, they will take the time to figure out the actual root cause.
Expanding scope of services: the scope of offered services is constantly expanding, and new services are performed to the same level of the existing ones. Examples of recently added services include alignment, complete suspension rebuilds, and tire services. I have used all the new services, and their addition turns this place, little by little, into a true one stop comprehensive shop.
Prices: for the quality, the prices are fair. This business builds its reputation on quality not on being the cheapest.”

“I did regular maintenance from a dealership which I will not name even though i’ve been going there for many years for this reason. I was printed out what was wrong with my car and it showed my rear drum brakes are in need of maintenance asap and it will cost $700 and change. I don’t have that kind of money. The headache and anxiety driving to work thinking my car has a less effective brakes. I took it to Von Auto Care and spoke with Chandler. quoted me a reasonable price for my peace of mind. It’s a small shop hidden in the back corner. Chandler called me after diagnosing my brakes and told me my brakes are good. I was shocked! the dealership would’ve robbed me $700 for nothing. I offered to pay Chandler for his time and he kindly refused and told me to pay it forward. I don’t know what to say. “I've had the opportunity to utilize their services twice now. Both times I came away completely pleased with their work. The first time was to correct an error made by another shop. The other shop had two chances to get the valve guides correctly clearanced and got it wrong both times. I took the head to BPE and the issue was corrected. More importantly, I left understanding exactly what the issue was, what was being done to correct it, and why. That was all the way back in 2005 and it left me feeling that if I ever needed head work done, this is where it was going to be done. Recently, I needed their services again on a different, used (slant six) head. Steve explained the process thoroughly, what my choices were, and how much it was all going to cost. There was never pressure to sell the next level of work/performance. It's only a matter of how far up the performance scale you want to go and how much you are willing to pay for it. Basically, my feeling is that if they are satisfied with the work, I'm 100% confident in the work. The "new" head is working perfectly and I am totally satisfied.”
“Castner's is awesome, I take our company trucks there whenever something needs repairs, Very honest!!!!! I had taken one of the truck to the dealer and they told me it was the catalytic converter, and it would be 3,000 dollars to fix, I thought wow thats alot, My boss told me to take it to Castners and get a quote from them. well it turned out that the catalytic converter was fine, there was nothing wrong with it. Another place would of taken advantage and said it needed it when it didn't, and charged me alot. just last week, the truck needed brakes, so I took it to a tire place and they were charging me 600$. I took it to Castners and paid 360$ Thanks guys for your professional, honest and awesome service.....”
