“Eddie Monterrozo, the Member Service Representative at the Placentia branch, is hands down one of the kindest and most patient bankers I’ve encountered. I came in with a lot of car loan and account issues that had been going on for a while, and it was a complete mess. Eddie was the right guy to handle it. Despite the circumstances, he didn’t judge and immediately went to work, calling different departments and advocating on my behalf.

In an age where everything is done online or over the phone, it’s easy to forget that sometimes you need to go into a branch and deal with a real human being who can make a difference. Often, when you call in, you don’t get the same level of personalized help. Eddie’s approach reminded me how valuable in-person service can be.

There were a lot of issues to go through, but Eddie tackled them one by one, educating me on how to handle things moving forward. This guy deserves a raise for sure.”

“I did not renew my US bank's CD account with a 4.75% interest rate after the 11 months term ended. The US bank automatically renewed my CD for another year but at a much lower interest rate, 0.05%. US Bank also has a 1% early termination penalty on the account balance if I want to close the CD account before the end of the term. I closed my CD account with US bank, paid the 1% penalty to a US bank. I opened a CD account with Forbright Bank at an Interest rate of 5.12% and automatically renew at the end of the term with the high interest rate.”

“Two experiences here so far and both have been great! I needed some brand new bills for the holiday season and Lunar new year. The first time I walked in and waited in line to ask a teller, second time I walked up to a banker and inquired. Both times they asked the service manager and she said yes!! New bills are hard to come by so I was really glad that they had some in the cash vault. Here's a few do's and don'ts to make your banking experience better. Do - Look at your phone, go on social media do whatever the heck you do when you're not standing in a bank line and you'll be just fine. Expect to wait, there's usually 2 tellers on the line. Use online banking for your wire transfers, it's easier than you think. The amount of paperwork and signatures are unnecessary when you see a banker- for you and for them. Be considerate to the banking team, they don't make the rules they just follow them. Don't- Be mad, huffing and puffing that you're waiting in line to deposit a check that could have been done on your mobile app or at the drive up ATMs. Give the tellers a hard time bc you want to take out cash that could've been done at the ATMs. Walk in expecting to see a banker for a new account opening that can easily be done on line.”

“I’m giving 5 stars specifically for the branch manager, Gurindar Rai, and his amazing team, not for the bank as a whole. My overall experience with the bank had been an absolute nightmare. However, when I visited this branch, I was met with a warm welcome and genuine support.

The branch manager and one of the tellers took the time to sit with me, calmly listen, and help me figure out the issue with my account. They made the necessary calls on my behalf and resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. It was such a relief during a very frustrating situation.
