“I want to give a big shout to Mr. Ashkan, the new pharmacist in CVS Playa vista. He's new at the branch, but when I first talked to him to get my husband prescription, he was so nice and very accommodating. He see to it that you get what you need. The next time I pick up my husband RX, even his not on pick up side, he say hi how are you. My husband has a lot of medication. The insurance change the pharmacy of his mail order RX, so we decided to transfer all his RX to CVS because of Mr. Ashkan. CVS is so lucky to have an employee like him!”

“Love this place! Great location, amazing staff, and even better service. I spoke with Ron and Peter about tire issues and they were on it! I was out in such a short amount of time. I will only be coming here in the future and recommend them to family and friends. I found them through my cousin in 2021 and Ron was just as helpful then as he was yesterday! Love a consistently great business!”

“Granny's is the best - they make the best roast beef and cheese sammy - toasted on a French role, with all the fixins. Can't make it any better. Plus, they now carry Mac salad, which is primo excellent too. Vok and Betty are awesome peeps and really care about their customers.”

“This legendary market is amazing. The history alone is the reason we stopped by the first time. We have been several times. Each time, we stare in awe knowing the greatness that once passed through the doors. I originally found this market in search of Jim Morrison's footsteps. Stepping into the market is like traveling back in time. We have also walked around the corner of the market to see "Love Street". The last time we were in the area, we desperately needed a pen to sign a card. This market was not the most convenient location but we stopped by here because it is so cool. We did buy some additional items like bottled drinks, chips and cookies. We love looking at the black and white photos. I just feel like it is a really special place and it was something really magical. I think there is something for everyone here. Snacks, goodies, history and a good little deli for getting food to go. They have cute little tables outside to eat your sandwiches as well. We don't live in the area but we stop by as often as we can. Each time we are delighted to see this fascinating little market where we have always been treated kindly by the sweet staff.”

“The food here is tasty! The deli/mart has some seating that is very casual and would be good to catch up with some friends over some beers. I didn't get a close look at the market, but there were lots of snacks and artisan food Asian products that you wouldn't find at your local grocery store. However, a lot of the more common snacks you can easily buy at Mitsuwa or the Ranch 99 in Westwood. Staff was friendly! We got pizza slices of the Mole Chicken, Guava BBQ Chicken, Beef Birria, and Mushroom. The mushroom was our favorite! The fried mushrooms on top reminded us of the salt and pepper shrimp/chicken dishes from Chinese restaurants and it was such a pleasant surprise!! We also got the pork belly banh mi that came with the dipping sauce. The pork belly and sauce really reminded me of Thit Kho, and while it wouldn't satisfy my craving for a classic Banh mi or Thit kho, the fusion of the two was still tasty as is. I would come back for the mushroom pizza!!”

“Nice and helpful cashiers, but location is very warm due to fridges motors on all day, so red wine is constantly sitting at 85°F.... Not a good idea. Good selection of hard liquor but super over-priced... It's a good location for us desperate hotel guests, though.”

“Great place to find Indian & Fijian grocery items. Family who runs it are friendly and always willing to assist. Awesome meat selection available too. I have been coming here for years…prices might be a little higher than place like Modesto & Sacramento but it’s LA.”

“I've been a loyal customer of this grocery store for years, and it never fails to impress me. The quality of their products is outstanding, and I'm always confident that I'm getting the best ingredients for my family. The aisles are spacious, making shopping a breeze, and the checkout process is quick and efficient. What sets this grocery store apart is its dedication to community involvement. They frequently host events, support local charities, and even offer cooking classes. It's not just a grocery store; it's a hub for food enthusiasts and a true asset to our community!”

“Hands down the greatest food store in the entire LA area. Unbeatable prices on everything in the store. Loaded with high-end gourmet items (Asian spices, sauces, oils and such) that cost a fortune in regular food stores. This has become my #1 food store since the day I discovered it.”

“This is hands-down the best liquor store on the planet. Selection is ridiculous, and the prices are even more ridiculously low. They get some of the coolest whiskeys available, and they sell them for an absurdly low price. Blantons goes for 200 bucks a bottle nowadays everywhere, and these guys had a deal for a bottle of Blantons, a bottle of buffalo trace, a bottle of Sazerac rye, and a bottle of Wheatley vodka for $150 total. If you follow their IG, they post these sorts of stupid deals all the time. Definitely worth the follow... Although, maybe don't follow them and you won't spend all your money on booze.”

“Busy intersection overall was happy to see the Chevron sign/colors. I only use Chevron. I've never seen the gas pump illuminated on any vehicle I've owned until 6 days ago. I prayed to make it to a Chevron station, God made a way. Thankful for Z & P Oil Chevron #309226 at La Cienega and Jefferson in Los Angeles CA...Ahmed was the helpful cashier. Highly Recommend Chevron gas ⛽”

“Amazing little hub marketplace! Blackowned mini mart neat, clean and vibrant. There is a variety of fresh and gorgeous fruits and vegetables and a unique array of dry goods, beverages , and specialty items. I happened to visit while they were doing a trial weekly Farmers Market in a unique way. They producers they were working with brought in beautiful produce and meat as a gift to the community. I came for the two weeks each Thursday and the food I was gifted was amazing! They carry my favorite kombucha and specialty items like Mike's Hot Honey. I really appreciate their focus on fresh, clean, and wholesome products. This is a unique community market in that it is not loaded with junk food like the majority of corner stores. I will continue to shop here and support their efforts. I hope the Farmers Market works out because it was the best produce and meat I've ever seen at one.”

“They carry Makoli rice beer along with many other Korean drinks. So if you're in gardena, you don't want to spend $13 at a restaurant for it, or you don't want to drive 15 minutes to a Korean market in Torrance, this is the place to get your healthy probiotic light beer.”

“Remarkable customer service. I was on a rush, on 10/11 I got service on this station but unfortunately I couldn't get the cashiers name. But she was extremely nice and professional , I was impressed. She did a excellent job, offering discounts, offers, bonuses. Idk her name, but I share my receipt so the owner can give her a promotion, or at least , congrat her for her absolutely wonderful job. Very pleased and making this station my favorite on the area.”

“I gave up on finding a pharmacy that not only cares about their customers, but one that actually answer the phone when you call! Ive been so stressed out dealing with the nightmare of CVS. And then a friend recommended I talk to the folks at a little well known pharmacy in the Beverly Hills area, Mickey Fine. And it's been life changing. Seriously! In the age of big box behemoths, I never thought I'd ever find a small family owned pharmacy that still loves what they do. Arnez is the pharmacist in the new Century City location (CAA building on Avenue of the Stars). She's unbelievable. She takes the time to understand my history, and makes recommendations just like they did back in the day. And she answers the phone herself most of the time. Who does that anymore!?! No recordings. No waiting to get directed and on out on hold for hours like CVS. The owners, Gina and Jeff have been so incredible, they're like little angels helping us navigate the complicated world of prescription insurance. I can't say enough about this small business. AND THEY DELIVER in the cutest little graphic designer Priuses! Kind, polite, detail oriented, friendly and they CARE so much about each customer. Thank you Arnez and Gina and Jeff for the incredible customer service. And more importantly, being incredible human beings in a world that has so few left.”

“I am a new neighbor of Hollywood Super Mart and it's great. They have interesting drinks and snacks, not the exact same stuff you see at any old convenience store. The staff is always friendly. I'm glad to call this my local shop.”
