“5 stars as a corner store
5 stars for why we all really come here
Friendly, clean shop. And fair pricing. They aren't gouging the fans of the series.
Highly reccomend a visit! Very welcoming.
Dark beer fans....try the Kyoto. Thank me later! Was a nice surprise.
The toretto house is a very short walk from the store also!
The mug was also super cool. $15, again not bad, fairly priced memorabilia. And you can't buy it online anywhere, I looked.”

“My friends and I used to go here when we were going to Marshall HS from 1980-82. I LOVED the pastrami sandwich! Then when my kids were growing up, my husband and I would take them there! Now we need to start taking the grandkids there too for a family tradition! We're going to drive 58 miles today just to have a sandwich!”
“I visited here for the first time and 10/10 experience. Such unique, cool, and healthy snacks!! I also loved that I was able to pick up some treats and food for my dog! Definitely coming back for all my snacking needs!!”
“Cheapest gas prices in the area to date (so it gets pretty busy here during peak hours!) - I make it a point to detour here on my commute when I need to fill up. Huh, guess I need to try the cookies here next time according to all the other reviews lol.
Of note though, for w/e reason the pump handle randomly de-latches on some of the pump stations I’ve used and I would have to re-squeeze the handle to continue pumping gas to full. I have a 2023 and it’s been doing that since - but just a minor inconvenience for the best gas prices in the area!”
“Making your own keychains was so fun and everything was so cute! Everything looked so yummy, and the owner (I think?) and staff were so friendly and nice! Def recommend this place!”
“Canyon Country Store in Laurel Canyon is far more than a typical café or neighborhood shop. It is a small but iconic part of Los Angeles culture, set within the beautiful natural surroundings of Laurel Canyon.
From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed by a warm, friendly atmosphere where both the owner and customers create a genuine sense of community. It feels less like a commercial business and more like a close-knit gathering place, where many visitors are treated like family.
The café is also highly recommended, especially the Sunday breakfast, which has become a favorite for locals and visitors alike. The quality of the food and the relaxed canyon vibe make it a perfect way to start the weekend.
Blending everyday convenience with an excellent café experience, the store reflects the unique spirit of Laurel Canyon—where nature, history, and a creative Los Angeles lifestyle come together in a truly authentic way.”
“I’m always getting pleasantly surprised by this place, it’s a great neighborhood spot! Great spot to pick up fun wines and beers. Had a yummy Taiwanese roll for breakfast. Everyone is always super nice. Only thing is the ordered food can sometimes take awhile to come out.”
“This supermarket is next to the Marriott Hotel. It is not easy to find. There are homeless people at the door of the store, but the store is relatively clean. There are not many choices of goods, but the prices are very affordable and the staff are very friendly.”
“Small neighborhood market with local products. It’s on the expensive side but they offer discount for EBT card holders . My husband and I bought a few things and would buy from them again.”
“I do like this place for now, they have things that you want and need sometimes & sometimes things that you don't need to eat at all but as born American we have my cravings junk food it is more expensive than some stores but if you do not want to go too far this place will do”
“gas station w pretty cool people, not much weirdos for a place in The Jungles. i met a dude who said he was doing a song w YG, shout out to him. and they sell pickles.10/10.”
“Duffl is truly a game changer. When I need an energy drink at the library or a bag of popcorn to my dorm, Duffl will always be there within 10 minutes. It has allowed me on multiple different occasions to prolong my day without having to waste time walking to and from the store.”
“Love this little market! The staff is always friendly and helpful. It’s clean, organized, and has a great vibe. Perfect stop for snacks, drinks and other necessity.”
“Yes, my experience was very good, I went there actually to search for a job because I have recently moved to Hollywood and I was in transition phase in those days and I met store owner there whose name was SAM he was a very nice person. And he is a very polite and down to earth person, I was very happy to talk to him. Nowadays, such people are very rare. If God gives me a chance to work with such a person, I will be very happy to work with him”
“It was great, but very busy.. there was a line to get inside because it is somewhat limited on space but they do have a great selection of produce and they accept WIC and EBT and this is one of the VERY FEW places that you can get the extra fruit and veggie money on your EBT card when you get fresh produce. It's a California program that basically allows you up to $60 free fresh produce a month.
All the Mother's Nutritional centers do, but outside of that I believe it's only a farmer's market in LA that is open like 3 hours a week or something which is horrible bc it's hard to manage that in order to get that extra money on your card to make your money stretch.. times are tough!
This program definitely helps, and they have great prices and the people who work here are really nice and helpful.
Sandra checked out me and my daughter and she was very informative and patient and even ran out bc I forgot my card there! (Thank you!)
It's probably a good idea to bring cold bags with you to keep your groceries fresh when you leave, and I would probably suggest to get there early because the lot fills up very quickly and people were even waiting for parking spots. Also if you have any health issues like my daughter, you totally want to be able to think about that beforehand so that you don't have to wait too long outside to get in.
It was a bit warm for us even though it was a nice day the sun was right on us.
I would really like it if they did have the pickup in-store option that it seems that they have for the other locations.... That would honestly be so extremely helpful!!
If you guys can do that please let me know!! I would appreciate it more than you realize because a lot of times my daughter doesn't feel good and I would really like for her to be able to get what she would want to get even though she's not feeling well so maybe she won't have to go with me or we could just pick it up together.
I think I'll definitely be back but the pickup option would make me come back a lot more often because it would be extremely helpful and convenient especially considering doctors appointments and other obligations.”

“Can't believe I haven't found this store sooner! Owner was super friendly and welcoming (something that's actually rarer than most people care for these days). Wanted to look for some quality bottles to share with family and friends for Thanksgiving this year. This store has bottles other stores don't carry. Quality top shelf bottles!!! I can't think of any other store that carries this many unique whiskies! Check out the score! Will definitely be back to pick up more soon! Ask for Sam - that dude is one of the friendliest owner's I've met. Kudos to you for running a quality shop!”

“Wow! Way behind on writing this review. Have been visiting this spot for gas for so many years. Prices are always very competitive. Has a great store with huge selection and neat shelves of cool diecast toys for impulse buys. Have been seeing the cool tanks and other awesome vehicles for so long, taken it for granted, but always fun to see what gets added to collection. A real gem here!”
“Busy intersection overall was happy to see the Chevron sign/colors. I only use Chevron. I've never seen the gas pump illuminated on any vehicle I've owned until 6 days ago. I prayed to make it to a Chevron station, God made a way. Thankful for Z & P Oil Chevron #309226 at La Cienega and Jefferson in Los Angeles CA...Ahmed was the helpful cashier. Highly Recommend Chevron gas ⛽”
“Usually pretty busy but if you go at the right time, you can get a good spot quick and it’s easy access to the 405 or the two if you’re going down to the ocean it’s definitely a better price. Gas is the cheapest point before you get into Santa Monica, Venice, Brentwood and then going the other way Beverly Hills, of course It’s an older station the area surrounding it is not the best to go in at night but it’s still safe, well lit and affordable this gas station provides 87,89 and 91.”

“This is my preferred gas station. And I don't just mean by brand I mean this exact location. When I can I will stop at this one. It's always just a couple cents cheaper than all the other local options and it's not so far out of my commute to be inconvenient. Very accessible from every direction, though sometimes going South on Eagle Rock can be a bit of a tricky dippy. Parts of their asphalt need some repair - on the York side especially. Inside is .. well a gas station, not the cleanest, sometimes people may ask you for change (what gas station doesn't have that) but I've gone here day or night for years and it's never been too bad, though it is popular and can get backed up at rush hour. I don't think that's a mark against it though, just means other people prefer it like I do.”

“The attention is always very good
and despite all the bad smells that come to the place, (of course it is a liquor store)
The place is always clean and the products are always fresh. I have been living in the area for more than 12 years and as long as it stays that way I will continue to be a loyal customer.”
“Looking for a wide selection of wines, beers, and other booze? Try here! They had most of the local and international brands of wine and beers! This place is very cheap compare to other wine shops in the city. I bought my father's favorite wine here yesterday, Pinot Grigio, and it was way cheaper than anywhere else in the city!”

“I didn’t expect to be leaving a glowing review of a gas station today, but this place deserves it: much better gas prices than the other stations nearby (at least, as of the date of this review), and a very clean bathroom—with cool graffiti-style art on five of its walls/ceiling. Quite a surprise.”
“They have pretty much anything you could need very affordable love coming here everyone is so helpful and it's super clean and very organized love the vibe everyone gives off love this place”

“I found this spot after going to a restaurant and this spot had a lot of convenient store items for a small spot. It’s great that it’s open 24 hours and they have ice cream like mochi. There was a vast selection of chips and other snacks.I’d definitely come back here again for other stuff in the future.”
“I think this is the friendliest gas station i have ever been in the past 20 years. I wonder why ppl there are so positive and friendly, always make my day! Thank you!”
