“I have been shopping here for the past year ever since I discovered the store through a friend. I love the store so much for multiple reasons one of them being the awesome products that I can find on a daily basis because everything is constantly getting changed so much, but the cashier that I go to every single time I come in and that is Brianna. She has excellent customer service. A true dedication and You can tell that she takes pride and what she does. She cracks me up and makes me laugh every single time I come through her line and overall gives me the best experience. If I could, I would give her 100 stars. She needs a promotion!”
“A great neighborhood grocery store, so convenient for me. A wonderful selection of products, including a fabulous selection of Boar's Head products, one of my favorite artisanal brands. Love their produce selection, the wide variety of wines and spirits, and the fabulous Member sales and deals. I always get great customer service at checkout. John Michael always makes sure my bags are packed light, I so appreciate that! The store is always clean and neat, too.

“I went to Safeway this morning and my favorite employees were working!I don't have all of their names but I do have the "name" of an employee who goes by Hype G on Yelp.Hype G. sent me an inappropriate message on Yelp about my friendship with Amy (rest in Paradise).This person is being investigated by Yelp. This is the bracelet that Amy liked. I bought her a matching bracelet after she commented on mine.”
“Pleasant hill market has great produce at reasonable prices. The staff and owner are terrific. They also have lots of grocery items too. They are my go to store for produce and last minute groceries that I need.”
“Overall a pleasant shopping experience at this Safeway in Pleasant Hill. Shelves are well stocked with a nice clean store. The Starbucks inside is also fast, friendly and efficient. However there were only 2 cashiers so I opted for the self check out line. I encountered some issues, along with another self check out customer, and it took a long while for someone (apparently a manager) to come to assist. Their weekly specials are always a deal. The store was pretty empty on a Wednesday afternoon. So it was a fast in and out.”

“Loved the store and assortment, but was disappointed that communication between associates was not successful. Cashiers were very cooperative, but the stock person was more than disrespectful to the customer, who was me.I believe he needs some help with training in order to provide acceptable customer service”
