“The house had four bedrooms but only one shower upstairs. With teenagers, that was becoming a daily problem. We took part of an oversized closet and used it to create another bathroom with a shower, then reworked the hallway bathroom so it wasn’t so cramped. Not the glamorous type of remodel people post before-and-afters of, but probably the most useful thing we’ve done to this house.”

“My wife and I have a small kitchen and were always struggling with the space. It has a sudo dining space that is also the pathway to the garage and fireplace area. We originally had a dining table there, but it just felt awkward and we were always really tight on storage. We finally decided it was time to figure out the space. We knew we wanted an island, some additional overhead cabinets, and a dry bar. Initially, we brought our plans to Home Depot to see if it was possible, but ultimately were not able to find anything that would match our existing cabinet color. We loved our cabinets and didn't see the point in replacing or painting them to match new ones. Home Depot was able to confirm the space for us and make some plans, but they did charge a one-time fee to get the process started. If we continued with them, that fee would have gone to paying for the cabinets but if you're stubborn like us then you're SOL.

Anyway, we eventually stumbled upon Elegant Stone & Cabinets. They have great reviews and we see something on their website that looks like it might be close to what we are looking for. They responded quickly to our email to let us know that they had that cabinet in their show room and were welcome to come take a look. We knew it would probably be a long shot and Elegant Stone even told us it wasn't an exact match, but we took one of our cabinet doors off, drove it over and sure enough it was not exact, but it was pretty darn close, actually the closest we'd seen yet (and we'd seen a ton).

We ended up working with Brigitte and she helped us with all of the details. We were even able to match our granite and cabinet hardware. There was no fee for plans and the quote was comparable to the others we received for the project. Brigitte made sure to cover everything, like how the cabinets would look at different dimensions, molding or flush mount, hardware suggestions, countertop overhang supports, outlet locations, existing trim - If you can't tell by now, we were impressed all the way through the process. The installers were professional and efficient, quick to ask questions for our preference on placement and all the little install details. Everything came out great, quality materials and quality staff. And the most important part, my wife is happy :P”

Rolando and Rodolfo handled the demolition professionally, Cesar kept the project running smoothly and paid close attention to every detail, Freddo did a great job with framing, molding, and painting, and Jorge's beautiful tile work truly elevated the finished bathroom. Remodeling can be stressful, but this project never felt chaotic. Everything stayed organized, and we always knew what was happening.

The finished bathroom is beautiful, functional, and turned out even better than we had hoped. The project was completed on time and within budget. Throughout the process, it was clear that Palazzo is a well-run company that takes pride in the quality of its work and cares about its customers. “I recently updated our laundry room. One of the final touches was a quartz countertop for the sink cabinet. As the cabinet was only 42" my original plan was to have them use a leftover piece of quartz to fabricate the top to my measurements and install it myself. Eva was very helpful when I stopped by the showroom on two occasions. When the room was ready for the countertop I realized it would be much better to just buy a whole piece and let JQ do the measure and install. I am happy that I did! I had them use some of the leftover for a top on a wire shelving unit. The installer who came out did a stellar job. Very happy! IN 2018 JQ supplied cabinets and installed the countertops for a kitchen update that I did before selling my home. They are still doing quality work at affordable prices.”

“I have used several contractors over the years, some very good and some not so good. The folks at Insight Glass are among the best I have ever dealt with. I had 2 companies give bids for my shower wall glass. One measured the dimensions and assumed the walls were square. The person from Insight Glass came with levels and graduated shims to get the exact dimensions. The person from Insight Glass also knew the code relative to the required number of brackets and the thickness of glass needed for my dimensions. The order went in and was ready in just one week. The installer was a top notch, class act. The mats he put down to protect the area were clean. You probably never thought about this, but it is significant. No tools were placed anywhere other than where mats were placed. The glass was set and adjusted for exact placement. Holes were drilled through the quartz perfectly for the brackets and not a speck of dust was left for me to clean up. It takes a special talent to make a perfect bead of caulking around the glass and wall. This installer had special talent. He cleaned the glass, reviewed maintenance procedures and left the area spotless. He took about 90 minutes and was never in a rush, making sure every step was done properly.
