Murphy's Paw
410 Main St, PleasantonI highly recommend Murphy's Paw! We only buy our dog food here. Caro is amazing- she has helped me find raw food that is allergen-free for our goldendoodle who has multiple allergies. When her food was backordered, Caro helped me find alternatives which was a huge timesaver for me! She even checked with a large chain store to see if they had it in stock. They did and I bought a bag there, but when I opened the package it had severe freezer-burn and I had to return it. I never had that issue with frozen food from Murphy's Paw- probably because she orders it often, being a small business, and it is fresher. I won't go to a large chain store again.
We love that buying from Murphy's Paw means supporting a local small business. I would rather put money into a local business, which ultimately stays in our community, than a large corporation.
Also whenever we need a pet gift, it is the best place to go- it has so many unique toys, healthy treats, and gadgets!

Pretty in Fluff
1552 E Gate Way #228, PleasantonAshley is the most professional, kind, and thorough groomer we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Our four legged baby is anxious and probably not the easiest to work with, but Ashley has always given him an impeccable groom. From his toes to his teeth, he comes out unrecognizable. We are so thankful for Ashley taking care of him!

Amador Pet Hospital
243 Main St C, PleasantonHands down the BEST vet in the Bay Area. I moved an hour away and still make the drive to see Dr. Chan and Nicole because no vets compare to the quality care they provide. They’ve seen my German Shepherd mix since she was 10 weeks old. She is now 4.5 years old. They performed her spay surgery, they do her vaccinations, and they successfully address every medical issue we’ve experienced outside of routine visits. I’ve tried finding a vet closer to my new home, but every single one lacks transparency and tries to upsell services we don’t need. Amador Pet Hospital is an honest, no-nonsense vet that consistently provides high-quality care at a reasonable cost. They keep my beloved girl healthy and thriving. I refuse to go anywhere else.

Tri-Valley Mobile Veterinary Service
1989 Santa Rita Rd, PleasantonWe absolutely love Dr J..and so do our pups..she is so kind and gentle with them and they love her treats..her assistants treat our fur babies just like their own too..I have read a couple reviews on here that I believe are complete nonsense and fabricated...it is a shame you can say anything you want with no accountability on this app..I cannot recommend Dr J enough..especially if your pet hates the vet and has instant anxiety...I have been to many different vets in livermore and the tri valley area and she is the best:)

Pet Sitting & Training

Furry Friends Pet Sitting
4382 Addison Way, PleasantonI first met Monika in the late 1990s when I had a diabetic dog and a cat. She knew what to do with the diabetes, and the dog just loved her.
Monika always was there for us when we needed her. Monika took care of our animals till we moved out of her service area. When my favorite dog had a stroke she was at the emergency room with me, and we cried together when the dog passed.
If I lived in her service area, I would absolutely have her take care of my animals no matter what. She is dependable and works very hard to ensure the animals get the care they deserve. She doesn’t take every job to ensure that she doesn’t short-change a pet owner.

Dog Soul
39 California Ave STE 301, PleasantonI love working with Susi here!! My dog and I didn’t have too many problems but the issues we were having I was losing hope and confidence in my abilities. One session with Susi here just talking and getting a feel for my dogs reactivity, she validated my hard work and gave me tools and confidence back to keep working. Walks are now back to feeling productive yet relaxing, and we couldn’t be happier!!

"PET DYNASTY" Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, & Training
7132 Johnson Dr D, PleasantonThis place is amazing! They are so friendly and take such great care of my dog. We use Pet Dynasty for doggie daycare and for boarding. This really has been the best experience I’ve had with boarding. At daycare I feel like they really like my dog and he, the dog, is pretty stranger shy. I highly refined them.

Porky's Pizza Palace
2911 Hopyard Rd, PleasantonPorky's has been my go-to when I crave crispy fried chicken or want to catch NFL or NBA games. The excitement and comraderie, or fun competition of rival teams, makes the space all the more merrier. The staff are so attentive with ensuring we had everything we needed and clearing away dishes to make space. If you're interested in ordering alcoholic beverages, you will want to head the bar counter. When it's extremely busy, ordering beer or simple drinks would speed things up for everyone. Otherwise I'd save the special request drinks for a less busier time.
I recommend stopping by for a casual and fun time!

Bronzes taqueria
5410 Sunol Blvd Ste 3, PleasantonYummm! Real great find in the neighborhood. We ordered Super Burrito, Fajita Mix and tacos (Fish and Al Pastor). Burrito and Taco Bell:5 Fajita would have been great but the sizzler came to us first and the condiments and tortillas came late so it got a bit cold. We took it home and reheated and ate it in the evening. Also 1 small pick: I felt a little unwelcome when asked for where the condiments were for the fajita as it was getting cold. I wish there was more empathy for that. 4 experience for sure. I will come again.

Dragon City
824 Main St, PleasantonTucked in a building with various businesses, we've driven past this many times. So happy Yelpers' review sent us here. The dining hall is simple but aesthetically pleasant. It makes for a relaxed dining experience. We chose popular Chinese dishes, comfort food : sweet & sour pork for me, prawns in lobster sauce. The lunch specials only came with rice options - steam white, brown & fried and egg roll or salad. Our plates were of good portions. The sweet & pork is as I expected - crunchy coat with well seasoned meat inside. It had pineapples which really makes the difference. It satisfied my craving for sure! Hubby's prawn & lobster sauce was delicious. He prefers the sauce to be more creamy though. He still enjoyed it. Both plates were $15.75 each which we thought was reasonable for the quality & portion. We may check out other lunch specials from that very long list!

Cellar Door
4469 Railroad Ave, PleasantonThis is a fun, neighborhood place to meet up with friends or go on a date. There’s always a fun crowd from all ages and backgrounds. Sometimes there’s like music. They decorate for different holidays and offer special drinks:cocktails based on the theme. There’s a large wine selection and beer on tap. The food is good and can be for appetizers or dinner. The large charcuterie board and the pastrami sliders are great. The flat breads and small bites are yummy too. It’s cozy living room vibes inside and there’s a large patio with heaters and fire pits outside.
