Murphy's Paw
410 Main St, PleasantonI highly recommend Murphy's Paw! We only buy our dog food here. Caro is amazing- she has helped me find raw food that is allergen-free for our goldendoodle who has multiple allergies. When her food was backordered, Caro helped me find alternatives which was a huge timesaver for me! She even checked with a large chain store to see if they had it in stock. They did and I bought a bag there, but when I opened the package it had severe freezer-burn and I had to return it. I never had that issue with frozen food from Murphy's Paw- probably because she orders it often, being a small business, and it is fresher. I won't go to a large chain store again.
We love that buying from Murphy's Paw means supporting a local small business. I would rather put money into a local business, which ultimately stays in our community, than a large corporation.
Also whenever we need a pet gift, it is the best place to go- it has so many unique toys, healthy treats, and gadgets!

Everyone was so sweet with Fred, our terrier/dachshund/poodle/ Heinz 57 mix, with really bad anxiety, and a snapper. When Dr. Alexander came in and put her hands on Fred, he immediately stopped shaking. Incredible! She's been our family vet for as long as she's been at Alisal, and is very knowledgeable and kind.

4382 Addison Way, PleasantonI first met Monika in the late 1990s when I had a diabetic dog and a cat. She knew what to do with the diabetes, and the dog just loved her.
Monika always was there for us when we needed her. Monika took care of our animals till we moved out of her service area. When my favorite dog had a stroke she was at the emergency room with me, and we cried together when the dog passed.
If I lived in her service area, I would absolutely have her take care of my animals no matter what. She is dependable and works very hard to ensure the animals get the care they deserve. She doesn’t take every job to ensure that she doesn’t short-change a pet owner.

She started off timid but now loves to socialize, thanks to the great tips from Susi. Not only does our puppy love the classes, but my husband and I enjoy them as well! We are so happy to have found Susi—she is an excellent trainer, and we love her training style. This class has been a great support, helping us with any questions we had, and the sessions are always fun to attend. We've even signed up for another four weeks. It’s been a fantastic experience!

Much To Do About Pizza in Pleasanton is hands-down the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! Every bite is absolutely delicious – perfectly balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and crust that’s baked to perfection. What makes it even more special is that the dough is fermented sourdough, which makes it not only taste incredible but also feel amazing on your tummy. You don’t get that heavy, bloated feeling you usually do with pizza – it’s just the best thing you can eat!
On top of that, their customer service is outstanding. The staff is warm, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making sure every customer has a great experience. It’s rare to find a place that not only makes incredible food but also makes you feel like family the moment you walk in.
If you’re looking for pizza that truly stands out – this is the place. Honestly, I’d say it’s the best pizza in the world. Pleasanton is lucky to have this gem!

1188 Vineyard Ave, PleasantonBeautiful winery ! They have indoor and outdoor seating. They also have snacks, like crackers, cookies, and cheese to go with your wine. The staff were SUPER friendly ! I came here for a wedding but I was an hour early and decided to visit the winery next door and I am glad I did. The rose was delicious, crisp, refreshing, exactly what I’m looking for in a rose :)

Even though I prefer thin crust pizzas I can enjoy thick crust pizzas like Chicago-style deep dish pizza. For normal pizzas I don't like thick crust because it can be dense especially the end crust, which a lot of people as myself don't eat. The first time I ate here was for my cousin's birthday in 2019 during March Madness. I came back to Porky's Pizza two weeks ago for his two sons' birthday. My cousin prefers thick crust pizzas. He ordered several pizzas: all-meat, chicken pesto gourmet, and margherita. The one aspect I like about the thick crust from Porky's Pizza is the end crust is airy and light. When the crust of the pizza is dense, I could only eat two slices of pizza at the most. I enjoyed the thick crust at Porky's Pizza so much that I ate more than two slices of pizza. If the crust is good, so are the toppings. Out of the pizzas that were ordered the all-meat was my favorite as it as savory but not salty. I also liked the margherita as you can taste the basil. The chicken pesto gourmet was the only pizza I didn't not enjoy even though most of my relatives liked that pizza. However I really liked the fried chicken at Porky's Pizza. If my cousin throws a party at Porky's Pizza I know that I will enjoy the thick crust pizzas.

The staff was very friendly and helped introduce us to each cat and their unique personalities.
