I’ve always been pleased with their grooming and handling of pets, but our last 2 visits they failed to let us know when our pooch is ready to be picked up and they seldom answer phone calls during business hours so this is a problem. Our most recent visit, however, they did let us know so maybe the previous 2 visits were isolated-we’ll see how the next visit goes.

On The Spot Mobile Pet Grooming
127 Cameo Dr, DanvilleThis was my first time using a mobile groomer and I cannot believe I hadn’t used one sooner. His last groomer asked that I didn’t bring him back as he was a bad boy while he was getting his nails done. I did inform Paul the owner of the company of this when on the phone and he reassured me that it wouldn’t be a problem. Paul the owner of the company came out to groom my boy Leopold and I must say I was quite nervous as Leopold doesn’t normally warm up to people, men in particular. When I opened the door, you would have thought they had known each other for years. His tail was wagging and Paul knelt down for a bathing of kisses. Paul took the time to go over all my concerns and he took Leo off for his grooming. When they returned Leo’s tail was still wagging and he looked great. His coat has never felt so soft and he smelt great. Paul told me he was a joy to groom and he would be more than happy to come back to groom him anytime. I highly recommend On The Spot Pet Grooming and I could tell Paul really enjoys and knowledgeable about dogs. I did also like that he quoted me a price on the phone and there were no hidden add-ons once he came and took care of Leo. I know Leo has found his lifetime groomer.??

Blackhawk Veterinary Hospital
9000 Crow Canyon Rd R, DanvilleDr. Nick, Rylan, and the staff at Blackhawk Vet are amazing. We've been taking our three sweet kitties there for 2.5 years. Every interaction is shown w/care. January 2, our 15-year old ragdoll, Tiffy was very sick with renal disease. Dr. Nick and Rylan walked us through procedures that we could care for her at home. Dr. Nick is very kind, yet straight-forward which is exactly what we wanted/needed. Our Tiffany passed a week later with sweetness and dignity. We will always love her so much. They checked-in with us and even offered to come in on a Sunday if we needed help. After her passing, they sent a beautiful white rosebud and vase and as well as a card that the whole office signed. We are thankful to Blackhawk Vet for the care that they provided us during this very sorrowful time. We will continue to go to Blackhawk Vet with our other two fur babies because of the knowledge and care they have provided our family . Our sincerest gratitude, Emma Greenhalgh

When I had my initial meeting I met both Luz (the owner) and Pam (the sitter). Luz is a very responsible business owner and has everything covered- even things I didn't even think of. Pam was friendly, warm and wonderful with our two Havanese dogs. The always got back to me right away and it was very easy to get ahold of them if I needed to. We were gone for 11 days and Pam sent us pics and videos of our pups. It felt so nice not to have to think about if everything was going well at home. She is a very caring pet sitter. I would definitely hire them again.

3630 Blackhawk Plaza Cir, DanvilleI have been taking my Scottie Zara to daycare at Dogtopia in Blackhawk Plaza for three years and she loves it. It is her chance to work off all her excess energy and play with her friends. The facility is very secure, scrupulously clean, and safe. There is a human supervisor in the play rooms with the dogs at all times to ensure the play remains controlled and the dogs don't get overly excited. The webcams are a great bonus too, since I can check and see how Zara is doing and if it is time to come home. I would recommend daycare at Dogtopia to anyone who wants to give their pup a special fun day!

The Meltburger was juicy and full of flavor, the Mac Daddy was crazy good, and the Three Cheese Classic tasted like real comfort food. Luis checked in on us, made sure everything came out hot, and you could tell he really cares about the guest experience. Because of him, our first visit turned into a new favorite spot.

254 Rose St, DanvilleA hidden gem. Was introduced to this quaint oasis by friends. Since then, it has become one of my favorite haunts. The owner is extremely courteous, very generous and hospitable. We started by going there for dinner but on one occasion wanted to celebrate a friend’s birthday for lunch and needed and requested an extended and uninterrupted experience. So we were allowed to stay on beyond the 2:30 pm shut down before dinner in a very cosy and welcoming setting. The host was most attentive when needed but did not try to rush our ordering of lunch menu selections and even suggested to try some new dishes on the menu. I take all my special guests to the bungalow on rose for an exquisite dining experience.
