“In a very stressful time Justin Roscoe at the Carmel Valley branch of Bank of Southern California made transactions surrounding Covid-19 and the SBA somewhat of a breeze. What looked to be massively complicated paperwork, he walked us through. He was almost always available when we called him and when he understandably wasn't, he got back to us in a quick reasonable time frame. We seriously could not have dreamed up a better scenario for what is a disasterous crisis for our business. We sincerely recommend him and hope you look him up. The lady helped me promptly and got my questions answered. 5 stars for the inside the bank experience with banker But the security guard with an accent made me feel unconfortable and unsafe , that’s why a star is being deducted and overall experience is 4 stars.But as I entered the bank , Security guard spoke to me in a loud voice and said “what do you need” I said I need to see a banker about my account.Again he said in a loud voice “ OK get in there and dit there and wait for them”I understand he might not have been raised in a nice neighborhood and given good education and caring environment but if he is going to work at a location in SD downtown then he needs to know the this neighborhood is very nice and different from what he might be used to. The security guard looks like he might need to look around and come to realization that he is working in a nice area where people are different class and status than where he was raised.”

“I went in the Navy Federal Credit Union at 200 Catalina Blvd San Diego to open an account on 12/20/2019. My father was an enlisted man and was honorably discharged in 1956. I had his DD Form 214 in hand to show proof that my father was in the Navy. I was met by very friendly receptionist who gave me a packet to review. Within two minutes, Symphonie, the teller took me back to an office. Symphonie was very personable, pleasant, and very knowledgeable about the credit union. Within 20 minutes, I had an account opened with a debit card in hand! So far, NFCU beats any bank in town. You couldn't have a better location over looking the Pacific Ocean and parking was a breeze. If you are able to join, I would definitely recommend Navy Federal Credit Union.”
