But today i had the blessed koment of meeting Helen, a cashier here that paid for half of my food as i was figuring out which items to leave out of my transaction because i did not have enough money. “The food here is really delicous. Especially the Pork Adobo which is my personal favorite. The lumpia they serve is fresh and hot and it is a really mouth watering spring roll. This place is great if you are a fan of Filipino food and you will not regret coming back ”

“This is an awesome market for all your snack and drink needs, right near Midland Elementary School. It's close to a lot of other cool businesses and my favorite part about this store is the customer service. There was a young man who rang up my items and he was so nice. That makes a world of a difference.”

“Best Aldis in the area!I drive 30 mins just to shop here. It is clean and well stocked. I can always find what I am looking for. Hailey the store manager is amazing. Please give her a raise.She remembered that I wanted an item that I asked for that was out of stock for months. As I walked through the door she excitedly tells me it's back and walks me to the item. I couldn't believe she remembered me.This is why I drive 30 mins to shop at this store. Friendly staff and great customer service.”

“Food is good quality although the koubideh kabab is now dry. At first opening years ago, it was juicy and not dry but now it is. The prices have rocketed to such that I don't go often at all anymore sadly. Even the mast o moussir is too expensive. I used to take out the family plate for 47$ at that time, that was enormous in salad, rice, koubideh, barg, chicken we could all eat decently. Now it's close to 70$ and quantities have shrewd down. Do I never take it anymore. But I always appreciate the place, the tea is delicious and I like the ambiance casual. I take a bowl of a (ache) now it's in my budget and I seat and watch.”

“I like shopping Stater Brothers. It's clean, well lit, well organized, well stocked. The produce is consistently plentiful and high quality. Nicholas has always been most helpful in that department. One suggestion I would like to make is that there is entirely way too much conversation going on between employees. Especially the courtesy clerks who bag the groceries. They discuss a wide range of topics such as movies, video games, partying, breaks, shifts, when the got there, when they're leaving, how long they have or have had to work, more partying, hie much they hate working at Stater Brothers. It's inappropriate and completely unprofessional and I feel so uncomfortable hearing these convos. I'm not eavesdropping, they're saying this at the checkout while I'm standing there. Where am I supposed to go to get away from it? When they get carts from the parking lot they usually do it with their phones in their hands. And they're super rude too. They need more training and better supervision. I've addressed it with the manager but there is never any improvement. Oh well, I think I'm too old school and need to just accept that Stater Brothers knows customers are going to come in regardless so why should they bother expecting their employees to deliver basic courtesy.”

“I went in to the Walmart in Poway the other night to use my ebt thru the Walmart site kinda like tap and pay but you don't tap you just pay with your ebt card that is added to the list of different payment options on their site. After swiping every item I had I go to pay and it wouldn't go thru. This worker name perla forgive me if I'm spelling it wrong went above and beyond trying to help me figure out how to try and make it work. I lost my ebt card and I won't be able to get another one till after the holidays so I figured that the stores that advertise that you can use your ebt through Walmart , door dash , and instacart would be pretty easy, WRONG!! But the manager Perla dedicated herself time to helping me try to figure it out. I would recommend that anyone if your having any issues at the Walmart in Poway go to her. Thanks perla”

“I'm not a Walmart shopper, but I needed to go there to get a shirt I wanted for work. Walmart was well stocked, and employees were everywhere throughout the store. I needed help finding a particular style of shirt, so I asked a worker. She was so nice and helpful and walked me directly to the area where the style of shirt was and even helped me find my size. Made me reevaluate my decision on not shopping there. The price was reasonable, and it was easy to self checkout my items. Walmart is now a place I will think about first to do my clothes shopping and I will try the other shopping needs to when the time comes. I was really impressed. ?”
