“It's a much older ALDI. They all pretty much have the same layout. No self checkout here, so you have to wait in the regular line. No sport bottle filling fountain, just a regular water fountain, that's a bummer. I'd stop in again. Tons of parking, so that was super easy. Kind of a weird shopping mall layout.”
“What a find! I'm new to San Diego, and had never seen Old Poway; ended up going out of my way, by a lot, to pick up a very hard-to-find beverage, which had shown up on this store's website. Alex, at the front desk, was wonderful, and certainly knows his products; kudos to him! I'll definitely make this trip again, whenever I need more of that amazing Bunderberg Root Beer!!”

“Food is good quality although the koubideh kabab is now dry. At first opening years ago, it was juicy and not dry but now it is. The prices have rocketed to such that I don't go often at all anymore sadly. Even the mast o moussir is too expensive. I used to take out the family plate for 47$ at that time, that was enormous in salad, rice, koubideh, barg, chicken we could all eat decently. Now it's close to 70$ and quantities have shrewd down. Do I never take it anymore. But I always appreciate the place, the tea is delicious and I like the ambiance casual. I take a bowl of a (ache) now it's in my budget and I seat and watch.”
“I was able to quickly navigate through the store quickly and found everything I needed. The store was clean and bathrooms too. I know prices have continued to go up but I believe for the food items I purchased I would have gotten a better price at the grocery store. I just didn't feel like making another stop anywhere else. Needless to say the automotive items were fairly priced and that was what I had gone to purchase. Overall I had a good experience.”
“I’ve had 3 custom cakes made at the Poway Walmart Bakery. The bakery ladies are awesome and are super helpful. The “boy bye” was definitely my favorite. The piping was super crisp. The other two cakes, I felt like the piping around the borders and writing wasn’t as neat. But you can’t beat the price. I love making a strawberry compote and syrup to accompany the cake.
Back again with another cake order. This time it was for my friend’s baby shower. Cake came out super cute!”

“Today I went to go grab a cake at the bakery because I wanted to go grab a cake for my teacher since I won’t get to see her next year and wanted to surprise her with a “sorry for always being loud” cake to make her happy. The baker said if I wanted take off the happy birthday there will be holes in the cake from accessory, and that she would do it but it can only be with the holes and that she can’t changed it and so I said yes do it either way. She came back and showed me and I saw she fixed it and it looked perfect. I don’t know what he name was but the baker just surprised me good”
