We have a tabletop one and I switched out the white rocks for the bling! Imagine that...?12/20/21 Went to make a purchase at the register and was TOLD that they can't take military ids anymore. You have to Register (aka mailing list and more) with a QR code. (Now anyone that knows me well is A I have NO idea WHAT that is. And B for someone that has been hacked since March 2020, I'm not downloading anything.) Told the manager we have been shopping at this store for over 20 years.5/18/22 Another "surprise" when going through the checkout. I was writing a check and they had already run the check through the system (meaning g they had taken the funds) and they where wanting me to "click on a button that stated I would pay a $25.00 charge if the check bounced". They just ran the check through, they confirmed the funds, what is this all about? I refused. I have gone through 3 years of hacking, scamming you name it and if Home Depot doesn't want my $200.00 sale, I'm sure Lowe's will. And not give me a hassle either about my military id either.Bald Dave thank you for your help today you we're great. Your management and checkers need a lit of training and work. I truly appreciate it!Easter Sunday. Home Depot has changed their policy on their Military Discounts. It is a NIGHTMARE to get "Verified" through their "outside vendor" to get a 10% discount. If they ask you to sign up for a QR code refuse like I did. I have been a victim of hacking and QR codes contain ALL KINDS of personal info. I have no problem showing my spouse Military ID each time I shop but you aren't going to sell my info to possible other vendors.IF YOU ARE SHOPPING FOR APPLIANCES....GO SEE MY GURL CINDY! “This shopping center is busy but not as crazy as other ones I've experienced. Pretty good combination and variety of businesses. I shopped Home Depot on this trip. Parking lot has plenty of entrances and exits making it convenient to leave and enter.”

“What a beautiful shopping experience my wife and I had in the Gardening Department this past weekend for Mother's Day. Our questions about plant material and much more was answered by Joseph and Candisse and then Johnn reassured us as we checked out. Trust me, my wife and I take notice of names and service. Joseph not only answered our questioned in gardening but walked with us into the store to show us where our additional shopping needs could be met. Joseph - An extra thank you to you!! Your product was fairly well stocked in gardening and we didn't feel like we were rushed to make a decision like we usually feel when asking a question. As an FYI, 2 registers should have been open, the lines were too long.”

“My favorite location. The employees are always helpful. I usually find what I need. They always spend time explaining other options or recommendations to the customer. I’ve only had one run in with an employee. His demeanor towards me seemed to be irritated and angry when I asked him about military discount at the register. Like he could not be bothered by it at the time. Other than that I don’t enjoy going to any other Home Depot other than this location.”

“A lot of friendly staff. We went at 11am on Sunday but surprisingly it wasn't very busy. They only had self checkouts. We went in looking for a particular bonding primer Ace sells but the Home Depot only carries a few major brands, the best one being Kilz.”

“I was in on Saturday and thought the mulch I usually buy was discontinued. I asked an employee who looked as though he was coming back from a break about.. He replied that he's got plenty he'll go get them as they're outside. I went back to where the mulch was after looking around for a few minutes and he had a pallet full. He asked me to step back and said, " how many do you want? He loaded up my cart and walked me up to the registers where there was a short line and said "hang tight I'm going to open the other register" He did and a lady stepped up and he rang her up. I was next. As soon as he was done ringing me up, he thanked me and wished me a good day and told me he called the guy to help. Matt was waiting to walk me out to my car. He pushed the cart and loaded all 5 bags of mulch into my car and the 8-ft sunshade being so careful with everything. He then said "there you go ma'am, you have a great day." Now if that isn't amazing customer service I don't know what is... Thanks guys!!”

“We have been going to Home Depot in Mission Valley for years and are extremely happy with the 'Service', 'Selection' and 'Value' at that location. That said, it was wonderful to get the same excellence in all the above at this warehouse off Genesee Ave in Clairemont. Ryan (who I thought was the "HD Manager") immediately asked how he could help and when I shared that we had ordered a product on-line, he quickly knew what to do - and he did it! I listened as Ryan picked up the phone and introduced himself to a manager at another store with such a clear, calm, and warm voice that I knew he would have a positive outcome from his call - and he did! My guess is that if he chooses, Ryan will be a "Manager" in no time at all.”
