“I had a rocky start with the postal workers at the front desk being rude and insistent I was wrong. Things have been figured out and despite that, they have been kind and pleasant to see now that I need to go by regularly.”

“Absolutely the most helpful, most reliable, and friendliest place in San Diego for shipping and mailing things. I don't even live nearby, but it is worth the drive. I've been doing business at this shop for several years and I cannot recommend it strongly enough. (They also have a fun stationary/gift store with lots of Sanrio and Pokémon products.) 10/10”

“I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I have been waiting for a suitcase from Germany for a long time, and it falls on the weekend and falls on Monday, which is the Martin Luther King holiday. According to the Internet, the package has arrived at the post office, but it will not be delivered until the next day. But because I have to take the flight back to my country the next day, I specially go. On one trip, the postmen passing by enthusiastically asked me what kind of help I needed. After looking around for no goods, they said they would pay special attention to me. I received the package more than an hour later. I just happened to see the postman appearing in the sun. I think they are all angels”

“I have no clue why some reviewers so negative about staff. They’re nicest people here, considering they stand on their feet the whole shift. It’s a post office, not a church. I live in this area for a year and always getting 100% excellent customer service including answering my stupid questions. Be kind and respectful, you’ll receive same back.”

“First time visiting! Went on a busy Monday morning around 930am. I had 30 envelopes that I had to mail out for Father’s Day. I waited in a line for less than 5minutes. The postal agent took good care of each envelope printing out stamps for each one. My experience overall was good. I highly recommend this location.”

“Controversial opinion: USPS (or just this location at Mira Mesa) actually do its job well... or may I say... it does its job even good perhaps.

Every time I went there to send simple packages, I had nothing except a good experiences from the staff themselves.

However, the problems with the USPS itself is the type of people
that goes there. It is as if 95% of people that goes here were placed under a Izanami in their own current world, because there is no way of explaining of how they are acting.

I seen one guy taking up a spot for OVER 10 MINUTE!!!! HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!!!??!??!?!?!? There was a long line because this guy was take one of the 2 spot available.

I do noticed sometime, when the line get too long due to these people, they add someone to the counter, which is really nice!!!

All government position suffer from the same problems... the type of people that goes there. Somehow, they can turn a 1 minute interaction into well over 6 minutes. Oh well....

So why did I give this place a 4 stars. That is because one time, when I was sending my mail through Certified Mail, my tracking progress said that my mail wasn't delivered yet, even though the recipient has confirmed and verified they have received it.

Granted, I had send my mail to the Social Security Administration to replace my social security card, so it probably wasn't USPS incompetent. However, I was worrying for quite a bit seeing my package being more and more delayed. Even as of right now, it still said that package still is at a sorting facility.”

“Like most Military bases this base has a Post Office (staffed by civilians but mostly military personal) and is only accessible to those who have base privileges. No need to give it 1 star because you can’t access it. The staff is very kind and professional. I like to go to this location because it is clean, good parking and even when busy they move the line along quickly.”

“What a lovely experience! I was trying to send Easter bunnies to my Mama and sister and the mail clerk was very friendly and incredibly helpful. She took her time with me and explained all my options, trying to save me money. And, although limited, they have some pretty cards that I got to add to my package.”

“After seeing the reviews I was expecting the worst but it was pretty painless. People made it seem like it was a terrible USPS location but apart from the customer door looking kind of run down everything went pretty smooth. I rang the bell and got my package 2 minutes later. It does look kind of weird and there's not a lot of parking so that could be an issue.”

“OK people, one more time. The RB customer service USPS location is NOT in this building. This is primarily a processing center with a drive-through mail drop for the convenience of people who don't want to get out of the car. The USPS customer service office is two blocks down the street to the south at Bernardo Center and Lomica Dr. So, please stop going to the wrong place and then trashing USPS workers for not being able to help you. And, BTW, if you don't like the USPS, try mailing something anywhere else. Only Vatican City has a better postal service - but they don't have to do door-to-door delivery for over 300 million people spread over an entire continent. Our postal workers are great folks working habitually short-staffed, so show some respect.”
