“Very helpful folk work here. I have some insight to what happens behind the curtain. All of the workers are very good and dedicated to their craft, despite management issues. The clerks and carriers do what they are told to do by mgnt.If you unhappy with the service here- long lines, bad tracking info, blank stares: blame the management.Management does the hiring, are responsible for the attrition, planning, scheduling, etc.Ask to speak with the postmaster, then follow up with his boss.Mgnt is responsible for your customer experience, and if your experience is not positive, the only way to make them accountable is to hold the post master accountable. All problems here track directly back to management.Frontline clerks, and mail carriers are the face of usps, however, they are usually not the folks responsible for delays, lost mail, and all the other problems that come up. Mgnt is 100% responsible. Please hold them accountable even when your first instinct is to blame the face in front of you.”
