“This is by far the best veterinary office I have been to. The veterinarians and the technicians I’ve had the pleasure of meeting have truly taken the utmost care regarding all of our animals. After my father passed, we decided to bring our 9 year old family dog home with us, but due to my health I wasn’t able to drive across the country to get him. Unfortunately, after a year of being with people who we thought we could trust, once he came home to us we could immediately tell that he wasn’t being properly cared for as he was suddenly displaying signs of anxiety and depression, had visibly lost weight, suddenly had food anxiety and his skin was in awful condition. He had been shaved down without us knowing (he is a border collie/aussie mix. He should never be shaved unless absolutely necessary…) which, I can assume is probably because the people who had him never took care of him. As he was my fathers dog, I didn’t know much about his medical history, so we brought him here and let them know the situation. They were incredibly thorough, even mentioning that because he came from Florida, there were certain tests they needed to do. They truly checked him head to toe, took blood work and referred us to the specialists our sweet boy requires for his heart murmur, and something I really admire is that they truly did take into consideration all he had been through and were willing to try a faster acting anxiety medication while he adjusts to his new, safe environment. You can tell that the humans who work here truly do love animals and have their best interests in mind.

We also have three cats who are patients here as well, one of whom is typically incredibly anxious but he absolutely loves going to the vet to see his friends! ?

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but I have to say that Dr. Kayser and Ramona Animal Hospital provide the best care possible for your pets, hands down. Dr K listens, provides the most intelligent insight, and makes a sound plan for any and all medical issues. We started visiting Ramona animal hospital when we moved to Ramona, and still to this day we make the drive from Temecula to Ramona just to ensure our cat receives the best possible care. Due to Dr Kayser’s direction, we have gotten at least another 5 years out of our beloved cat, and hopefully many more years because of the excellent care she provides. Thank you Dr K.
