“Xitaly helped me find a couple things in garden and in paint i really appeciate it i was in a rush and it was close to their closing time but she still took time from being what looked like she was busy to help. Overall ive had good experiences at this store but i do notice the older older employees arent as helpful as the younger ones. Sometimes the shelves products in the light bulb aisle can be confusing. But in general good bang for buck during sales at this location. And better atmosphere in general compared to the indio store”

“The two big nationwide home improvement stores are the reason I’m now a new customer of this Ace Hardware. Why? We purchased a Schlage lock from one of the two big nationwide home improvement stores. They tried but couldn’t rekey it. We went to the other nationwide home improvement store. They thought they could rekey it, but the person wasn’t working that day or any day we visited. So we returned the Schlage lock and purchased the same Schlage lock at this Ace Hardware, but at a lower price. They didn’t have one person in key & lock department, they had THREE people working, but it only took one of them to rekey the lock. Better yet, no charge, since I purchased the new lock there. “Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man” & has won over this customer.”

“Terry my Color Consultant was amazing! She provided me with 3 renditions of different color combinations of my home. This was very helpful in making a decision on what colors to paint my house.
She was very helpful and had great suggestions like getting samples and painting small sections on my house to see how the colors look at different times of the day! I recommend using this free service! You can also use the color visualizer on their website and trying it yourself.”

“I preordered a new refrigerator. They called me the day before and told me my appointment was between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. They arrived about noon. One gentleman came in the house and unhooked the water supply from the old refrigerator. He went back out and assisted the other man in unloading and unpacking the new refrigerator. They moved it to the front door via hand truck. They then went in and with straps, carried the old refrigerator out of the house and took to truck. Then, using the straps, they picked up new refrigerator and carried it into the kitchen. They hooked up the water supply and plugged in refrigerator. They then installed the handles and gave me all the instructions to use my refrigerator properly. Then they finished loading the old refrigerator and left. Most painless delivery I have ever received. The delivery personal were perfect gentleman. Good Job, Lowe's!”

“Since Yelp reviews really do make a difference when it comes to trying to decide where to spend your money and where not to, I felt compelled to leave this review for anyone who is about to purchase flooring but is not sure where to go or how to find good help. We are currently flipping a property and needed about 3000 sq ft of vinyl plank wood flooring to be delivered to the property asap. My husband found the tile we needed on clearance and went into the Home Depot in North Indio to place the order. What should have been a simple and seamless process turned out to be nothing but a waste of time because every employee had a different idea as to how to complete the order and not one of them was able to actually do it. $4000+ worth of flooring and no one could figure out how to get it done. Needless to say, hubs was pissed when he left with no flooring order and I was the lucky one he chose to call to rant to about this negative experience for the next 10 minutes... Yay Me! Feeling defeated, he thought he would give it 1 more try and headed over to the Lowes in La Quinta to see if he could get them there. To his shock and surprise Donald G. appeared before him, clearly sent from the flooring heavens above, because within minutes of hearing what was needed for our flip, Donald got to work finding similar flooring, scheduling a prompt delivery date and seamlessly fufilling the flooring order with ease. My husband said his customer service was amazing and wanted me to post a review to recognize the job well done. Big chain retail stores like Lowes don't know about the Donald G's unless people like us bring it to their attention. His quality customer service is few and far between these days and I honestly felt like I would be doing a disservice not to recognize it by posting about it online via this Yelp review. So if you are in the need of flooring and quality customer service means something to you it does to Donald G as well, so do yourself a favor and head over to the Lowes in La Quinta, I think he is in the flooring department but you can also just look for the salesman with the halo above his head and angel wings spread really wide behind him because according to my husband, he was awesome and beyond helpful. I should add, that the hubs was so impressed with the difference in customer service that he went there today for supplies instead of HD and while he didn't see Donald G. anywhere he received the same type of help and friendly disposition from the person that helped him today so LOWES CORPORATE... if your listening, whatever is in the water over there that these employees are drinking you need to bottle it and sell it because they seem to be setting the bar high when it comes to quality care and customer service and it is very much appreciated.”

“We have a midcentury modern house and were debating on colors for the exterior. While looking at the many paint samples on the wall, we were fortunate to start a conversation with Darin, who is the Color Advisor for Dunn-Edwards. We consulted with Darin about several color schemes and with his help, came up with a plan we are very excited about. We've never been to a paint store with a Color Advisor on staff and it made all the difference.”

“The Home Depot is always an enjoyable shopping experience. They have such an incredible stock of Home items things for the inside the outside of the home do-it-yourself even a huge selection of gift cards and you're able to actually use your credit card to purchase them with. I would recommend a nice stroll around the Home Depot especially during the hot weather when you have plenty of time to spend looking. Now that we are at Christmas time the store is so beautifully decorated and the selection of trees living trees outside other trees inside holiday ornaments decorations everything that you could possibly want and at very good prices. There is always someone to help carry the items for you out to your car and everyone is in a good holiday spirit and my shopping experience as always was great. I also enjoy going to the Home Depot when I get there ads to see some of the new products that they have so many of these things of course and thousands more available on their website but it's always really special to take a look and see what what's actually there and I just went in today and found something that I needed and picked it up
I wanted to add to it some additional things that I have found very useful at the Home Depot and one thing that I didn't know they sold even though I worked there a few years is bird seed in big tubs I have substantial Birds and the live in my tree and I'm going through a lot and normally I would go elsewhere to a membership warehouse but because of the closeness I thought well I'll go give it a try”

Kevin J. was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the different types of flooring, as well as the entire process involved with having new flooring installed. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel rushed. His professionalism, patience, and genuine willingness to help really stood out.
What impressed me even more was that I had some additional questions about things outside of the flooring department, and Kevin was still able to answer those as well.
