“Xitaly helped me find a couple things in garden and in paint i really appeciate it i was in a rush and it was close to their closing time but she still took time from being what looked like she was busy to help. Overall ive had good experiences at this store but i do notice the older older employees arent as helpful as the younger ones. Sometimes the shelves products in the light bulb aisle can be confusing. But in general good bang for buck during sales at this location. And better atmosphere in general compared to the indio store”

“Decent Home Depot in Rancho Mirage. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot, unlike the store in La Quinta. They did not have what I needed in stock, but I was able to order it online and it will be shipped free to the store for pickup. What I wanted was a little niche so not a big deal.”

“The two big nationwide home improvement stores are the reason I’m now a new customer of this Ace Hardware. Why? We purchased a Schlage lock from one of the two big nationwide home improvement stores. They tried but couldn’t rekey it. We went to the other nationwide home improvement store. They thought they could rekey it, but the person wasn’t working that day or any day we visited. So we returned the Schlage lock and purchased the same Schlage lock at this Ace Hardware, but at a lower price. They didn’t have one person in key & lock department, they had THREE people working, but it only took one of them to rekey the lock. Better yet, no charge, since I purchased the new lock there. “Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man” & has won over this customer.”

“Terry my Color Consultant was amazing! She provided me with 3 renditions of different color combinations of my home. This was very helpful in making a decision on what colors to paint my house. She was very helpful and had great suggestions like getting samples and painting small sections on my house to see how the colors look at different times of the day! I recommend using this free service! You can also use the color visualizer on their website and trying it yourself.”

“Such great service. James and Wyatt are 5 star. It might be worth paying a bit more than big box stores if you need help. BTW, They replace screens on site and they do an excellent job at a much lower cost than the window and screen companies. .”

“Don't do what I did by showing up right before they close. Its bad as a customer. Eventhough I did, he helped me right away and had the part I needed along with additional information around the part, if I needed that as well. I am very appreciative of the willingness to help last minute. He even helped another customer shortly after me. I will absolutely return.”

“We had two new doors installed and the whole process, from choosing the doors and the hardware, to scheduling installation and the installation itself, was perfect. Nathan and his partner (didn't get his name), were on time and worked efficiently. The doors were hung properly, which isn't easy, I understand. I love that the doors close gently, don't slam shut!”

“Alice Cunningham was incredibly helpful and kind throughout the entire experience. She took the time to listen carefully, explain things clearly, and made sure I understood everything. Her positive attitude and patience really stood out, and she made me feel comfortable asking questions. It's clear that she genuinely cares about helping others. I truly appreciate her support and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, friendly, knowledgeable and Bilingual. Is there to do her job and does it incredibly and you can tell she is happy to help other as much as she can!!!”

“We have a midcentury modern house and were debating on colors for the exterior. While looking at the many paint samples on the wall, we were fortunate to start a conversation with Darin, who is the Color Advisor for Dunn-Edwards. We consulted with Darin about several color schemes and with his help, came up with a plan we are very excited about. We've never been to a paint store with a Color Advisor on staff and it made all the difference.”

“Great customer service by Oscar and his colleagues. I stopped by late on a Friday afternoon with company coming and the CO2 tank on my kegerator out of gas. I forgot to take the old tank in with me, and Oscar was cool enough to let me take a full tank and bring back the old one (which I did today). Very good purchasing experience.”

“5/5 Stars – Incredible customer service in the paint department! I had a wonderful experience at the Home Depot paint department thanks to Robbin and Kenny. They were so incredibly helpful, patient, and creative while helping me choose and match custom colors. Remodeling and picking out paint palettes can feel overwhelming, but they took the time to make sure I got exactly what I needed. Outstanding customer service from start to finish—thank you, Robbin and Kenny!”

“I just moved in the area full time and needed a home improvement store to go to. This Lowe's is the closest one to my place according to Yelp so I decided to give this Lowe's a try. I must say I was a little surprised by how bad the reviews were but kept an open mind. I needed some wood pieces to make a few shelves. I had just walked into the store to look around. Within a mins, someone yelled from across the aisle "Can I help you?" His name was Jay. I told him what I was looking for and Jay took me to the aisle and showed me all the choices. I got what I needed and Jay cut the wood to the sizes that I wanted. Jay was very careful to put some duct tape on the wood to minimize fraying. No one had ever done that before. Normally, cutting the engineered wood by an electric saw would cause the wood to fray very badly. I always have to buff it out when I get home BUT not this time! I also needed some products to fix my dameged polished concrete floors. I went to the flooring department and the associate was very nice but wasn't 100% confident what product might be the best fit for my project. He said we needed to go and see this guy who is very knowledgeable about floors. The associate took me to the knowleasgeable guy and it was Jay! Jay knew exactly what I needed for my floors. I was very impressed by everyone here, everything from asking me if I had any questions, helping me decide what I needed to cutting wood plank to the sizes that I wanted with such care. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have ever had at a home improvement store. I am so glad this Lowe's is the closest store from my house!”

“I like this store; it is always clean. This time, an employee named KC from the lumber department helped me with everything I needed to get; he even gave me recommendations on certain products, since I don't have any experience. Thanks, KC—every store needs people like him.!!”

“A service member by the name of David was so helpful. He went out of his way to even check other Home Depot's to ensure I was a satisfied customer. Jesus helped as well, I believe he later was was working as a cashier. He too was very polite and professional. Good job Home Depot.”

“I don’t normally write reviews, but Kevin truly deserves to be recognized for his dedication and his ability to go above and beyond for his customers. Kevin J. was extremely knowledgeable and informative about the different types of flooring, as well as the entire process involved with having new flooring installed. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel rushed. His professionalism, patience, and genuine willingness to help really stood out. What impressed me even more was that I had some additional questions about things outside of the flooring department, and Kevin was still able to answer those as well. His knowledge went well beyond his department, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about helping people. He went above and beyond what I would have expected from an associate, and that made a lasting impression on me. I’ve been to several Lowe’s stores over the years for various remodeling projects, and I can honestly say that I have never come across someone as professional, patient, knowledgeable, and helpful as Kevin. Lowe’s should be extremely proud to have an associate like him. He is a huge asset to your company and a wonderful representative of what exceptional customer service should look like. I’m going to consult with my wife, and when we’re ready to move forward, I will absolutely be back. Kevin is the only person I want to work with going forward. He earned my trust simply by taking the time to make sure I understood my options and felt comfortable with the process. Thank you, Kevin, for your time, your expertise, your patience, and for genuinely caring about helping me. I sincerely appreciate everything you did and the way you went above and beyond to make sure I had the information I needed. Kevin, you are truly a tremendous asset to Lowe’s. I hope your management recognizes just how valuable you are. Thank you again for all your help and for making such a positive impression. Sincerely and with great appreciation….Sebastian”

“Since Yelp reviews really do make a difference when it comes to trying to decide where to spend your money and where not to, I felt compelled to leave this review for anyone who is about to purchase flooring but is not sure where to go or how to find good help. We are currently flipping a property and needed about 3000 sq ft of vinyl plank wood flooring to be delivered to the property asap. My husband found the tile we needed on clearance and went into the Home Depot in North Indio to place the order. What should have been a simple and seamless process turned out to be nothing but a waste of time because every employee had a different idea as to how to complete the order and not one of them was able to actually do it. $4000+ worth of flooring and no one could figure out how to get it done. Needless to say, hubs was pissed when he left with no flooring order and I was the lucky one he chose to call to rant to about this negative experience for the next 10 minutes... Yay Me! Feeling defeated, he thought he would give it 1 more try and headed over to the Lowes in La Quinta to see if he could get them there. To his shock and surprise Donald G. appeared before him, clearly sent from the flooring heavens above, because within minutes of hearing what was needed for our flip, Donald got to work finding similar flooring, scheduling a prompt delivery date and seamlessly fufilling the flooring order with ease. My husband said his customer service was amazing and wanted me to post a review to recognize the job well done. Big chain retail stores like Lowes don't know about the Donald G's unless people like us bring it to their attention. His quality customer service is few and far between these days and I honestly felt like I would be doing a disservice not to recognize it by posting about it online via this Yelp review. So if you are in the need of flooring and quality customer service means something to you it does to Donald G as well, so do yourself a favor and head over to the Lowes in La Quinta, I think he is in the flooring department but you can also just look for the salesman with the halo above his head and angel wings spread really wide behind him because according to my husband, he was awesome and beyond helpful. I should add, that the hubs was so impressed with the difference in customer service that he went there today for supplies instead of HD and while he didn't see Donald G. anywhere he received the same type of help and friendly disposition from the person that helped him today so LOWES CORPORATE... if your listening, whatever is in the water over there that these employees are drinking you need to bottle it and sell it because they seem to be setting the bar high when it comes to quality care and customer service and it is very much appreciated.”

“I preordered a new refrigerator. They called me the day before and told me my appointment was between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. They arrived about noon. One gentleman came in the house and unhooked the water supply from the old refrigerator. He went back out and assisted the other man in unloading and unpacking the new refrigerator. They moved it to the front door via hand truck. They then went in and with straps, carried the old refrigerator out of the house and took to truck. Then, using the straps, they picked up new refrigerator and carried it into the kitchen. They hooked up the water supply and plugged in refrigerator. They then installed the handles and gave me all the instructions to use my refrigerator properly. Then they finished loading the old refrigerator and left. Most painless delivery I have ever received. The delivery personal were perfect gentleman. Good Job, Lowe's!”
