Biggest shout out for selling quality dog boots and letting us try them on. It’s hard to find the right size online, and big box stores won’t really let you try them on. They are a necessity for the Redding heat.

Nichole LOVES dogs, and somehow also loves my dog who is very nervous at the groomer. Her love and care for him shows in the final groom as well as the two of them very clearly being buddies now. She uses wonderful products, takes incredible care of him, and somehow always sends me home with a dog who looks (and smells) absolutely beautiful. I trust her completely and am so grateful to have found someone who truly understands and cares for dogs like Jesse. I wouldn’t take him anywhere else!

My dog’s name is Beau (a Shepsky), and our new groomer is Beau Carranza — and what a wonderful match it turned out to be!
After being bathed elsewhere, our Beau came home unusually itchy and heavily perfumed. He scratched so much that in a week or so, he developed scabs on his back near his tail. We were concerned and hopeful for a better experience.
From the moment we arrived at The Grooming Cottage, Beau C was patient, gentle, and genuinely loving with our Beau. I appreciated being able to fill out an information card noting his sensitive skin issues so they were clearly documented.
Apparently, Beau doggie even uncharacteristically stepped into the tub using the provided steps — and after his bath, jumped right into Beau the groomer’s arms to get out! That alone told me he felt safe and cared for.
He was finished in less than an hour and a half, and I received a courtesy call letting me know he’d be ready in 15 minutes. Despite using an oatmeal-based shampoo for sensitive skin, he smelled wonderful — clean but not overpowering. He came home soft, fluffy, and comfortable… and with no skin rubbed off his nose (which has unfortunately happened twice at another groomer).
Most importantly, Beau Shepsky is sleeping peacefully again — no scratching, no irritation.
Needless to say, I scheduled his next appointment on the spot. We are so grateful to Beau Carranza and The Grooming Cottage for the care, attention, and kindness shown to our sweet boy. Highly recommend! ?

Dr Shaw did such a great job not just testing, but keeping me informed of what each test was looking for and what the results of each meant and where they were leading us to. She was very practical about the treatement and each options associated costs.. Her and her staff were so pleasant the whole way through, even when my mare was acting up and getting fiesty. I really enjoyed my experience here and for the knowledge I left with and the results I left with after a thorough 5.5 hr exam, the price was so reasonable and worth every penny in my opinon! Thank you Panorama team! I hope I don't need you anytime soon, but I know I will be in good hands if I do!

2133 Eureka Way, ReddingI want to sincerely thank everyone at VCA Companion Hospital who cared for my sweet Jackie yesterday.
It was one of the worst and most heartbreaking days of my life. I brought Jackie in because she had become extremely weak, and after an ultrasound, we learned that she had a tumor on her spleen that they believed was cancerous, along with a significant amount of blood in her abdomen. It became clear that she was suffering and that she would not be able to overcome what was happening to her. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let my precious girl go.
I came in with only $67 and was terrified because I didn’t know how I was going to be able to help her. The compassion and kindness that your staff showed us was something I will never forget. I was not charged for the care she received today, and I am incredibly grateful for the generosity and integrity you showed when I was at one of the lowest points of my life.
What touched me most was the way everyone cared for Jackie. Even while we were going through something so painful, the staff talked to her gently, held her, comforted her, and treated her with so much love and dignity. They didn’t just see her as a patient. They treated her like the precious family member she was.
There were several people who tried multiple times to place an IV because her veins were so difficult, and every person was patient, gentle, and determined to make sure she was comfortable. I could see how much they genuinely cared about her.
When it was time to say goodbye, they gave Jackie peace, comfort, and dignity, and they gave me such kindness and compassion when I needed it most. They also gave me the reassurance that I was making the right decision for her, even though it was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make.
I cannot thank the entire team enough for the love and kindness you showed my Jackie and me. You made one of the worst days of my life a little less painful.
Jackie was deeply loved, and I will miss her more than words can say. Thank you for helping me give her the peaceful goodbye she deserved. ❤🐾

4275 Westside Road, ReddingWow! I am so impressed with Dr Townsell. It’s very hard to find a vet now that is accepting new patients, much less a good one, and Dr Townsell is probably the best Vet I have ever taken a pet too. She is very thorough and you can tell she really cares about animals and also my concerns. She spent so much time talking to me in depth about my newest puppy and all the questions I had about pet insurances, Flea, Tick and Heart-worm preventatives, the Rabies vaccine and when it was safe to give to such a small dog. I never felt like she was rushing to get to her next patient, the way I have with some providers. I was also surprised at how reasonable my bill was!! I have more experience with Veterinarians than I care to admit, so trust me when I say, Redding Veterinary Clinic Amazed me!
They are on Westside Rd right next to Fire Station #3 and across from AM/PM and Jack In The Box, you can see their mural from 273.

She was very thorough and did a great job explaining the situation to us and making recommendations. She kept us updated and prepared us for a cancer diagnosis in a very empathic and compassionate way instead of making us wait several days to have the conversation with our regular vet. We so appreciated her. The staff was fantastic too. I highly recommend Dr. Swann and this facility.

His method strengthened the bond I have with my dogs and their response to directions! I am super impressed and happy we found him!
