Pet Care

Mt Shasta Animal Hospital
1130 N Mt Shasta Blvd, Mt ShastaI took my 19-year-old Kitty into Mt Shasta Animal Hospital for her wellness checkup. My concern was she had mats I could not get out myself, due to her age she's stopped grooming herself. The tech was able to shave her without sedation and my kitty it is purring again! The receptionist was friendly and compassionate, the Dr called to tell me the results of the exam. The vet tech was so patient in shaving her and told me what a cooperative patient my kitty was. Check out and payment was quick. I'm very thankful to have my cute lion cut kitty happy again. From check in to check out my experience was 5 stars.

Bistro 107
107 Chestnut St, Mt ShastaOne of my favorite places in Mount Shasta. The outdoor seating was wonderful, and the service was very friendly and attentive.
It’s a dog-friendly place, which we really appreciated. They have multiple dishes for dogs.
It’s also very vegetarian friendly, and they can make any dish vegetarian.
A great spot for a relaxed meal!

Pipeline Craft Taps & Kitchen
320 N Mt Shasta Blvd, Mt ShastaWe stopped by Pipeline Craft and had a mixed experience overall. The biggest highlight for us was definitely the beer (which is what you want for a craft tap spot), it was excellent and worth the visit on its own. The patio was also a great spot to sit and relax, especially since it’s dog-friendly. The staff even brought our dog a water dish without us asking, which was a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated.
The service throughout our visit was excellent, and the patio had a nice atmosphere for people-watching and enjoying a drink.
As for the food, it was decent but didn’t quite live up to our expectations. The duck fat fries were good, though not particularly memorable. We also tried the fried cauliflower, which felt a bit over-battered and could have used more sauce. If I return, I’d probably skip the appetizers altogether.
For our mains, we ordered the chicken sandwich and the peanut soba noodle salad. Both were perfectly fine, with good flavors overall, but neither stood out enough that we’d order them again. The salad in particular could have benefited from a little more dressing.
Given the price point, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed by the food given its high ratings. That said, the excellent beer, friendly service, dog-friendly patio, and relaxed atmosphere still made for an enjoyable visit, but not somewhere I’d visit again.

Mount Shasta Craft House
316 N Mt Shasta Blvd, Mt ShastaWe went there twice during our trip
Loved the ambience and the service
Specially the orchard chop as a salad
Their whiskey cocktails are better than others
Any pizza with balsamic glaze is probably quite heavy on balsamic but wood fired are delicious in general
If there is olive mentioned, its probably a lot of it lol
But good place, worth going twice for sure
Specially for vegetarian options
