Having been visiting here for years—Easily one of the best local Dunsmuir food stops for burgers and shakes. They always have some of the best milkshakes—the strawberry version uses actual strawberries. Chicken sandwich is a flattop-grilled version with a nice brioche bun—really good. Fries have a tasty coating on them—but their RANCH SIDE DRESSING is INSANELY GOOD. There’s bits of pickle and parsley in it—really tasty.

Jubilee Railroad Wilderness Lodge

I have been eating at the restaurant here since I was a small child. This time, stayed with my partner during a road trip. The caboose room was a lovely home base for a couple nights! We really enjoyed reading in the mornings with coffee in the cupola. The details of metal cups and soap dispensers instead of disposable items was really appreciated!! The charm and service here are wonderful. We’re foodies and dinner in the dining car is a far cry from the steak and spaghetti it used to offer! It was absolutely fantastic- even though they were low on things, the execution was stunning and so tasty! We will definitely stay again when the opportunity arises!
