VCA Gateway Animal Hospital
2006 South Barney Road, AndersonI want to first start off with how Paul, just being himself, had a very calming effect on our Petey. He came in twice, and at both times, Petey sat next to me just as calm, no panting, no pacing, he was peaceful. OH! And, when Paul came out to the car to give Petey his injection, again, sat as calmly and as contentedly as he did inside the vet office. That I had to share first. :)
Our Petey has terrible allergies both food and environmental allergies. But this time he had been licking excessively and over night, he had licked his paws and his front upper legs raw, and he had an unfamiliar bright red rash down in his groin area. He was suffering terribly. I got online and luckily there was an appointment for the next day. We got him right in and, not only did his allergies give him grief, but he had a skin infection as well. Something he’d not been diagnosed with before. He got his Cytopoint for his allergies, and Claro for his ears, and, antibiotics, which were new to us.
Well, it’s been 24 hours since we were at VCA Gateway Animal Hospital, and WOW. Petey’s skin has improved SIGNIFICANTLY already! He’s been resting now, seeings now he couldn’t with that constant itching. After my husband and I talked, we did recall when Petey had been to a different veterinarian office and they said he had a skin infection but they did NOT give him antibiotics. They sent us home with bathing shampoo, which Petey yelped when we tried to bathe him with it. That was horrible for him. Thank you to VCA Gateway for actually getting our boy Petey well every time he needs them. Thank you.

Pawsitive Training Center
7043 White Oak Drive, AndersonWe are first time pup parents and were nervous about the training process for brodie especially because we ended having him unexpectedly! However, after making the BEST decision to go with Marty..brodie came home after two weeks of Marty’s boarding and training and we saw a great change in him overall! I went from having to chase him around the yard to get him inside to now a simple call! Among other improvements, he is now crate trained..and crate trained very well ? we appreciate Marty so much! What was also very helpful was Marty’s recommendations/suggestions he sent through text for better training and food/snacks. He walked us through brodies training in a way that was not overwhelming and we can clearly see how passionate and knowledgeable he is with training or just dogs in general! There’s much more I can say but I’ll end it with highly recommending Marty, you won’t regret it!

Bobalicious Tea Bar
2303 Balls Ferry Road Ste B, AndersonWow, sorry we hadn't found this place sooner, but, glad we made it and we will definitely become regulars! This is not your mother's shaved ice, instead a creamy light as air delight. The owner was so kind and helpful, we can't wait to visit her at her food truck and explore the food options. We were there for Musubi Mondays and even though we didn't go there for that we ended up with two, delicious! Please support this local business and the kind owner. Anderson only has a handful of good food options, this one makes the list.
