“This market is part of makes the neighborhood great. Plenty of available parking, good selection of food & beverages, as well as some additional conveniences like their sandwich bar and bbq. The staff is always very friendly and my kids love “helping” by pushing the little carts.”

Sometimes I do this when I don't wanna foods from Hot Bar.
All for $40.
And chilled and ate at the table while reading a newspaper.

“I ordered 7Buffet meals to go. Each of my guests specified their meat choice. When I arrived to pick up the food, which had been packed and kept warm, it was quickly packed for my pick up.
My guests thoroughly enjoyed the buffet, the food was delicious and plentiful. I added taco shells, shredded lettuce, cheese, and Chavez guacamole. A mini-fiesta at home thank you.”

“My husband and I stumbled on this place because our daughter plays volleyball at Sports House nearby. The place seemed so lively for a weeknight! With Mexican music playing, stands of hot food at the front, it seemed all too inviting.
Not sure if we bumped into the owner (White middle age guy) and he gave us a sample of horchata, popcorn, peanuts, you name it. What hospitality! We had the tacos and they were good, esp the tripas (intestines), but you gotta tell them to make it EXTRA crispy (dorado).
Some workers understood English, some don't, but they'll find you someone that can serve you. I LOVE sauce/condiment bar. They have all sorts of agua frescas (Mexican juices) along with the horchata. They even have freshly made by hand pupusas which were ok.
You can pay cash outside or card inside. Their restroom inside is also clean. I took a peek at the grocery store and it looks pretty good with a bakery (that had a line mind you) inside.
HOT TIP: Monday - Thursdays they have $1.49 tacos (beef, chicken, pork) Tripas are $3 each like regular price tacos. We're definitely going to keep coming back here since it's so convenient to grab dinner here when our kid is in volleyball.”

“They had great selection of fruits and vegetables and a lot of different condiments from Mexico. The staff was very friendly. I picked up a few things there. Tomatillos different kinds of peppers Serrano jalapeno going to make some salsa tomorrow. They also had a great selection of dried pepper imported. Also going to be great for making some salsa. I liked it. Prices are decent. Parking was easy. I do wish they had more organic products there though. That's the only drawback I didn't see anything organic at all. I'm not saying they didn't have it but it wasn't accessible at a glance.”
“Great burrito! I got a carne asada burrito (only meat) with a few scoops of green salsa. Only downside is they don't have a salsa bar, so I wasn't able to add more salsa when the green wasn't quite spicy enough. Otherwise great!”
“A bit on the smaller size, this Safeway still has everything that you would except from a local grocery store. The produce, dairy, and meat departments had what I wanted, and the dry foods and wine sections were better than expected from the smaller size. Staff was friendly and helpful.”
“I always come here to get special craft drinks and snacks. The cashier is always nice and treats us like we are friends. They have convenient parking The only recommendation I have for them is to post their entire fridge menu on DoorDash, if possible, and publicize their menu more frequently.”

“Great prices and really good variety! If you go in without specific brands in mind, you can get everything you need. The store is clean, well stocked, and the employees are friendly. There is parking on both sides of the store, so it's never too hard to find a spot. Well worth the trip!”
