“Put something on hold came back couple hours later and no one could locate the item. Manager Shelly I think that was her name was so HELPFUL she went out onto the floor and even tried to help me find the same item I had on hold even after I told her it was okay that id go look for it.”
“This is a very unique store that has been here in Modesto for a long time. I stopped by recently and was glad to see it was still here. I was able to locate some twine I needed for a model project. One thing I never noticed before is that they have a new cooler of energy drinks and gatorade. $1 for an ice cold gatorade here. Friendly staff, one of Modesto's oldest stores - yet that in itself isn't really that much of a feat anymore. There are hundreds of businesses in Modesto that are going on 50-100 years in business. Local indies. This is one of those.”

I have heard that people come in early, grab all of the cute ones and resell on TikTok. I wonder if a limit on popular items could be imposed? Give the rest of of as a chance! :) I love the friendly staff and helpful management.”

“JCPenney has been a wonderful addition to Manteca! The staff is incredibly well-trained, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to families. They go above and beyond to create a safe, comfortable shopping environment, which makes it much easier for parents to browse without constantly worrying.
Their customer service is consistently friendly and helpful, and they have a great selection of clothing, home goods, and seasonal items at reasonable prices. “Just like any other Ross. I wish they had more variety of clothing items for Me but that's typical of department stores like Ross or TJMaxx. Their selection of little furniture and stuff is super cute and nice looking, but the prices are insane! This is Manteca for crying out loud - who's going to spend $160 on a Dog bed or drop three bills on a Coach bag.. at a Ross.. in Manteca. But like I mentioned they do have some great stuff you'll find around the store at great prices.”
“This review is mainly for the store itself and for the items available. Won't go into the customer service part 'cause we all pretty much have a general idea already what customer service is like from other reviews and experiences. This appears to be the latest and greatest Walmart in all of Modesto, considering there are a total of 3 Walmarts in Modesto. This Super Center on McHenry Ave, another Super Center (1st ever Walmart in Modesto) on Plaza Pkwy, and a new Neighborhood Walmart on coffee Rd. I like this one the best as it seems to be the most organized Super Center with a wide variety of things available ranging from food, beverages automotive, houseware, health/personal items, sports, outdoors, clothings/shoes, etc.”
“I haven't been to this Walmart in a long time. It's across town, but i needed some pricing tags and was close by. The parking lot is still a mess as it was packed. I got my steps in and was greeted by a friendly employee as I walked in. I found what I needed and decided to pick up a few grocery items. I was impressed by the cleanliness and prices. Good job Walmart.
Yesterday was the first time I've ordered groceries online and picked up at the local Walmart. Super easy and Issac was very nice, loading up my water and groceries. He asked if I had Walmart Plus. I don't but will be looking into it.”
“The Manteca, CA Target was one of the best Targets to shop at, and I still enjoy it but the bathrooms have really gone down hill. They used to be super clean. Also, I often find open wrappers around the store, where people have stolen items and left the wrappers, or I find Starbucks cups. Some people just leave their garbage around. This was not the case before. I'm sure the Target team is trying their best to keep it clean but it's a real shame. Also, the people working in Target often don't know where something is. I don't mind waiting for the staff to check their apps to see where something is placed but often they don't offer to look on the app for you. That was not the case a few years ago. Hopefully things change, otherwise I may need to shop at the Target in Lathrop, CA.”

“This store was clean and organized AND HAD CASHIERS READY TO GET CUSTOMERS IN AND OUT. LOVED IT. Went on my lunch break , I found what I needed, got in line, didn't wait but 2-3 minutes, and they had me on my way. I even had time to grab a bite to eat. Keep up the great service Ross off of Sisk!!”
“It’s so my son is autistic. I got a call from my wife that he was having a meltdown she was having a really hard time because he wanted some toys he couldn’t have and he didn’t like he had to put them back so he ran out the front with them. I told her to inform the employees he was not trying to steal. He just didn’t understand and I would be there in two minutes to help. Soon as I pulled up, he turned around, put the toys back and a manager came walking right up to me as my son is still in a full-blown meltdown. Told me “don’t worry about anything take your time. There’s no problems here at all”. he was completely helpful and completely understood. I don’t know if they’re trained to recognize. but you can definitely tell the manager knew what was going on and handled it like a true professional. Is target will always have our business. They took an obvious hard situation like pure professionals”

“We have been to a few different self washes, but this by far was the best yet! Greeted by friendly staff all over the store, very clean, nice smelling shampoos/conditioner, blow dryer was nice and warm, and the best price too! Would recommend to any fur parents!”
