“I needed an odd-sized box to ship something and figured these guys would have something useable. They did. This location has a good selection of packing supplies. Some other U-Haul locations, not so much... they seem to exist only to rent a couple trucks here or there. This is the type of U-Haul store I'm used to seeing in the past. The person who helped me was pleasant and efficient as well.”

“Rented a truck 7/6/19 for one day. Truck was basically brand new which was great. Every U Haul I ever rented had a million miles on it and was barely running. The truck had a lift gate instead of a ramp. There are pros and cons to each type. The lift gate helped load really heavy items as we didn't have to push it up a ramp. Returned it later that night and dropped the keys.”

“Have used this u-haul location a few times. Trucks are good and clean. Service is great too! There is a gas station to use right nxt to it just in case you need to fill up. A little tricky to get out of the gas station with a 26ft truck, but doable if you back out onto the traffic. This place also has a drop box for after hours. Recommend!”

At first a bit confusing but overall process was very smooth and people were very nice.Like I said again, very convenient location. Had no trouble returning. “So this is a tough one because there is a language barrier but this young man got me a 10 foot U-Haul right away and didn't charge me any extra fees or anything, they take a deposit at first but when you return the truck you get most of it back . Overall pretty easy and smooth”

“I rented a van online and chose the self checkout and return. Pickup was going to be at Sam's Tires on Greenback. The U-Haul app wasn't working correctly and Sam and his team helped me without adding the $20 charge for not using the self check out. I had the same problem again trying to check the van back in and again they didn't add any additional charges. These guys were friendly and helpful.”

“I'm not sure about the other reviews complaining about the owner as he was professional when we rented a cargo van from this location. In fact, we mentioned in passing that we'd be returning the van and then heading to a different location in Rancho Cordova later in the week to pick up a larger moving truck. He suggested that we could just rent that truck from him and save the drive on the 50. We mentioned that we attempted to reserve the 26' foot truck on U-Haul's site and it said no trucks of the size we needed were available. Well, he proved that U-Haul's online reservation system may not be 100% accurate as he had more than one of the truck size we needed on hand. We were able to cancel our other reservation and swap out the cargo van for the larger truck in one simple transaction. In the middle of 5 days of moving the idea of not having to trek out to Rancho Cordova and deal with US-50 was music to our family's ears. The owner's simple suggestion saved us at least an hour when time was a precious commodity. Specific to our move, this location was smack in the middle of the house we were leaving and the house we were moving to. It is worth noting that there is a gas station only 0.2 miles from this U-Haul location which made refilling the fuel for the van and the truck a breeze. No searching for a gas station or dealing with Rancho / Sacramento / etc. traffic while trying to negotiate a 20+ foot vehicle is an A+.”

After several angry phone calls the other company admitted they didn’t even have one for me, despite being told several times they did. So I had to find a liftgate on very short notice and was able to do so at Ryder truck. Sam was very helpful and got me set up with what I needed.”
