“It was a bit crowded the day we went but had a fun atmosphere. Many sales people approached us to help and were very kind. My kids liked looking at the different bears available; however there were some that were either sold out or only online exclusives we couldn't see in person. Overall it's a fun experience and we'll go back when the kids are ready to pick out a stuffy they really want.”
“I'm so happy to see they are still thriving after their move across the street last year. I've been enjoying this wonderful community store for over 21 years. Over the years I've shopped for children and maternity items, while also donating my children's things as they outgrow them and selling gently used furniture to the store for resell. I love supporting local, small businesses whenever I can and this store is one of my favorites.”

“My bf and I visited the mall this afternoon after not coming here in about 2 years. Lots of new shops or ones we didn't get to see last time because they closed early or something. We dropped by this shop today and what a fantastic experience!The man who worked there today really sold us on buying some more blind boxes. It's our addiction and the prices here are wonderful. Crazy good prices AND the young lady cashier even told us they do trades! Anything in their display case was up for trading in case you didn't get the one you wanted in your blind box. They specifically had one of the Digimon ones we didn't have yet and I pulled one that I didn't want so I ended up trading for it! Great shop and wish more shops did a trade system like this. “Absolutely LOVE this place. My friend and I took a trip out to Torrance to relive our inner 80s kids and we loved every second of it. 80s/90s nostalgia in well organized glass cases with lots of unopened merch, hard to find and rare items. There was also inventory sitting off to the side waiting to be put on display. Toys of the universe indeed... and everything in between. The owner is so knowledgeable and personable; we really enjoyed talking to him. He gave us some "ah ha" info about select items that made it feel like we were in a museum (if you're a true nerd, you know that random facts are like power-ups *insert sound effects here*). We bought a Gameboy at his other location with 2 games. They were willing to make a fair deal and allowed us to test it in the store. This was my first time ever (yes, ever) playing a Gameboy and my heart melted a little bit :)There were many times I spotted an item that took me back to the good ol' days and I had to keep my tears in check. I must have said "I remember this!" over 30 times. We got a few things and are already planning another trip. The prices are reasonable and they also buy items which they can give store credit or cash. Def support small biz by checking out this unique gem. I wish they had places like this out by me in Ventura. Until then, we will keep going back for our nostalgia fix.”

This is a great store for teachers, homeschoolers and parents.If you sign up you can get discount coupons in your e-mail and save on toys or games. If you're a teacher of any sort, or just looking for educational supplies, you'll find them at Lakeshore. They have a large selection of classroom supplies and the best learning materials. Teachers will find bulletin board decorations, really unique, colorful and hard-to-find cutesy stuff. You don't need to be a teacher to enjoy the store. If you're a creative or artist, you might find it just as amusing. Every Saturday 11 am- 3 pm they offer free c crafts. Nobody obligated to buy anything.Lakeshore is clean and organized. Good prices.Great resources and service! Staff members are friendly and courteous!”

They have EVERY pop animation merch from around the world, starting with an awesome Funko Pop collection. Every inch of the store is covered in American & Japanese paraphernalia. They sold him at a fair retail price, shipped him quickly, and even wrapped him up with care in tissue paper for the journey. So glad to have this pup ? Thank you!!”

“I believe most, if not, all locations are self service which is good and an easy check out process. I had never been to this location and was in the area so I decided to check it out. I'm sure glad I did. I was able to find a lot of items that I was looking for at other locations. The value is obviously good... some items were more than $5 but still a good deal. If you did need any help, there was an employee ready to help. The only bad thing about coming here is parking... very busy since there's also a Trader Joe's next door and a Starbucks, among other businesses. But if you get lucky, good for you! My patience tends to run low at times but I didn't have to drive around too long to find a spot.”
“They are only open during a warehouse sale, which they post the date for on their social media. Was given a rundown about how they handle the crowd and received a paper with a price sheet. Employees were polite and quick to answer questions as well as restocking product. They were also asking customers what they were looking for and would try to see if they had any. Overall a fun and easy experience and I can't wait for the next one.”

“Kaitlyn (not sure how she spells her name) was absolutely fantastic. I had a large balloon order (9 red and 4) and she happily did it for me, with a smile! Even though I bogged her down with this order, she was still attentive to the other customers and greeted everyone. I was shocked find out she was new! I would have thought she had been working there longer. I am going to shop there more and spend twice as much money than I would have.”
