“Holy COW! The sandwiches here are incredible! I’ve been in the area for three years and stumbled upon this place recently. Cannot believe I haven’t been eating here before. The TriTip sandwich is a must! All the staff are super friendly as well. They also sell a great selection of fresh meats and essentials for any meal (e.g. Beechers Mac & Cheese)”

“Great meat, great service. The butcher noticed I wasn't too happy with the fillet size of the porterhouse without me saying anything, so he looked in the back and then cut a new piece for me. My only regret is not asking for at thicker cut. Got it marinated, came out delicious. Paid in cash. If you are looking for quality meats and willing to pay a little extra, highly recommend this place.”

“I'm glad I was able to stumble upon this small butchery. I got the brisket sandwich and it was a pretty sizable amount. It was pretty good but the brisket was a little dry, but the guac and salsa helped . But overall a pretty good sandwich”

“Great meat and marinade at great price. We tried chicken and pork ribs from this place and it's miles better than the ones we get from supermarket. Definitely recommend!”

“A truly unique European-style deli-bodega. It is my understanding that the owners of this establishment are of Romanian descent. The products on sale here are definitely imported, and I'm working my way thru the different pickles and mustards and jams and jellies. They also serve food. I had a toasted ham and cheese, and my wife had stuffed cabbage. Each was tasty. I recommend this place.”

“I felt this sudden urge for chicharrones and guac and so I took the Yelp rabbit hole and found this place. Little meat market in the middle of Norwalk that has big charm, friendly service, and an excellent reputation for their meats. Their chicharrones were crunchy and fresh. My intrigue though, came from the taco shop they own that is right next to them. I am definitely going to have to come back and try this spot.”

“This is currently my favorite place to get expensive cuts of meat. They have all types from A5 Japanese wagyu, Australian wagyu, and even American wagyu. There's so many options and they also have lots of different cuts. The only ding would be that when weighing the meats they also included the black plate you see in the pictures. Now I don't typically have a problem with this but when meats are at the $50-$60 a pound, every little weight added counts! I didn't bring this up (but I should next time) because they were very kind throughout the entire process, I just thought of it as my tip.Their meat here always looks fresh and is top tier. Their customer service is also so amazing nice and patient. George helped me out today. I had so many questions before purchasing and he answered them all flawlessly. He was super patient and ultimately helped me decide what to get today! They also offer the service to cut your meat to your liking which is super nice. Their packaging is also neat and attractive. Overall this place is amazing!!”

“This location is catered to businesses though they carry the very best Japanese peanuts by "de la Rosa", the best crab deals, marvelous ham selection and most of all much more organized due to less vandals. I came here to get office supplies but was surprised by their ample restaurant supplies. There is a larger walk in fridge with every thing in it !!!!”

“I went in August for my boss who sent me for goat meat. I was so impressed with the customer service. My boss wanted to speak to somebody and the gentleman cashiering took his call on my mobile phone, while speaking to him, went around his store, picking out the items he requested. I am so thankful for this wonderful experience of my boss being treated with respect and hear his sweet voice in his Hindi language. Thank you!! Also, returned again a couple weeks ago and received the same experience on my own. I got the Indian tea and some Pakistan chocolate cookies and the nice man cashiering said that I picked a good choice. The cookies were delicious. Thank you.”

“One of my fav groceries stores. They also have some of the best employees that I look forward to see. The quality of the frozen goods are seriously apparent. The prices are also fair and best bet you'll always find something on sale that's going right into your oven. Tip: order ahead and just pick it up”

“Learned something yesterday: having the word 'Sunrise' in the name of a market or restaurant doesn't mean it's Filipino. We needed to pick up some lumpia wrappers for a Christmas Party, and instead of stopping by our regular place, we wanted to stop by someplace on the way home from Santa Ana with easy access to the highway. Searching for Filipino groceries, Sunrise Supermarket came up so redirected our GPS there. There was plenty of space in the large parking lot. But as soon as we saw the large sign, I realized it was a Vietnamese grocery store (which makes a lot of sense considering where we were). It's not a particularly large store, but is stocked with all the essentials. There is a lot of whole fish being displayed in open displays, so wouldn't be the place to go for folks that can't stand the smell of fish. We were able to find a Vietnamese brand that could stand in as Lumpia wrappers, and picked up a lot of other snacks and vegetables since we were here, including garlic flavor corn nuts (which my wife said she likes...who knew?). It was easy to checkout (they take credit cards) and quick. Ended up being a productive stop. I know the first sentence of my review is silly, but honestly that's the way I was thinking.”

“I really enjoy the idea of a totally self-service supermarket. They have quite a bit of inventory and some variety. However, with that said, there will still be plenty of items you may be looking for that you cannot find. Many of the shelves have open areas being unstocked as it seems they have a limited supply of brands they actually carry. The prices are not that great. But if you do not like crowds, this is the place for you as it seems there are more workers than customers every time I go. And as a bonus, if you ever return an item you've bought from Amazon there, they usually give you a coupon for the market to get $2 off 10 or something similar.”

“Small neighborhood carniceria serving delicious tacos and other prepared meals. Came here for lunch and got a Gordita with chicharron and green salsa, one taco de lengua , my son got himself a Gordita with lengua meat, one carne asada taco and one pollo taco. The Gorditas were as large around as one plate and packed pretty full with meats. The sauce was a spicy enough for us both to have runny noses. Meats were tender, flavorful and just the right amount per taco. The Gordita itself seemed made on the spot . Wait time was close to 20 minutes but only one lady was taking orders and cooking them! Always need my Mexican Coke, plus a pack of blue tortillas to take home. Will definitely recommend this place, just be sure to follow the traffic flow because I didn't and ended up having to go against traffic in the really small parking lot. Marinated meats are also on display for sale and also has limited vegetable section,”

“This little cute mini market is very convenient to stop by if you don't have time to go to the super market. The meat is very fresh and they have never disappointed me or my Familia. The staff is very friendly and have great attitudes specially the (carniceros) butchers. They keep it clean and organized. Tip: buy the homemade flour tortillas they have by the cash register.”

“I like the market/restaurant. I've been going here for a little over 5 years. The owner and staff are very nice. Prices are OK. Given current problems with inflation and supply shortages, they have as a good a selection as can be expected. I really like their freshly made tamales and flan. Both are very good. Their tamales are best in the morning. And I consider their flan to be the best I've ever had. They are especially kind and helpful to their disabled customers (of which I happen to be one) Again,I really like it and would happily recommend it.”
