“How do you even begin to describe the most magical day of your life? All I know is, it definitely wouldn't have been as magical without Tiffany and her team at Rough & Ready Vineyards. First off, the vineyard and the guesthouse were both the most perfect backdrops for our fall wedding. The colors, the leaves, the weather, all absolutely breathtaking. Our number 1 compliment of the day was how beautiful the venue was. If that wasn't enough, Tiffany and her team made the day and the year and a half leading up to the day so smooth and incredibly easy. She was available to answer all my questions at any given time something would pop into my head. They're very accommodating to all little details and specifications. The "Something Borrowed Barn" is such an awesome (included) addition to this already amazing venue. Our wedding day was everything I dreamed of and more. The guesthouse was the perfect place to have my girls all stay with me the night before and get ready at in the morning. Obviously I can't say enough good things about this venue and if I got to do it all over again, I wouldn't change 1 single thing. “The most perfect wedding venue. This place was an absolute gem that we found. We got nonstop compliments from our guests about how beautiful the entire venue was. Rooms were spacious, clean, and perfect to accommodate our family and wedding party. The staff were warm, welcoming, helpful and let us do our thing. The manager Faith is such a kind, sweet person, along with all the staff we met. We have nothing but great things to say about Harmony Ridge Lodge. If you’re thinking about having your wedding here you will not be disappointed.”

The only issue is parking. Only ~20 spots in the back. Get there early or reserve.

“I hosted my yoga retreat at Willow Springs Lodge and it is the perfect place to gather groups that want to be close to nature and have access to a yoga studio!

When renting the Lodge, there is a variety of accommodations- single rooms, double room, and a dorm room. The living room is a great place for people to gather with plenty of comfortable chairs and couches. The kitchen is very modern and clean. The backyard water feature is very relaxing and the grounds are spacious. The owners, Mark and Trish, have been put so much thought and care into all the details! Trish's permaculture garden is an absolute "must see" it is amazing to see and smell these berries and vegetables!

I highly recommend Willow Springs Lodge for anyone looking to lead a Retreat. And I would also recommend Willow Springs Lodge for family reunions and large gatherings such as weddings and birthday celebrations. The venue is easy to get to, since it is located on the 49 highway and it is also an easy drive to many Yuba River spots. Your group will definitely enjoy these peaceful surroundings!”

“God is definitely! The facilities were pretty clean. The food was decent. Spent a wonderful weekend reconnecting with the Lord in the beauty of His creation. There is a lake, recreation area, lots of cabins and lodges. The South Yuba River is close by which is amazingly clear and well worth the trip”

“My Fiancé and I weren’t having much luck finding a venue within our budget until I came across this beautiful house in Grass Valley! I immediately knew that this was going to be the place for our special day!!!. We were greeted by Sierra and she was amazing! It was pouring rain but she still took us all around the house and answered all of our questions. We appreciate the time and effort she put in to making sure we understood everything. “Wow. Talk about customer service. I have been staying at Airbnb’s and hotels, including the racist Gold Miner’s Inn, and nothing comes close to the exceptional service provided here at the Northern Queen Inn. Vanessa always greets us with a smile and is always happy to meet my needs, unlike the other places in town. She makes you feel heard and meets your needs as a guest as much as possible. I don’t see customer service like hers anymore. Anywhere. Thank you for the good vibrations, I think the other receptionists here can take note of her work and learn from her lead. I hope you give this great listener and over-achiever a raise that she deserves as I have had attitude from the other girls, which is so unnecessary. And it goes to show you their privilege. She is the only reason I stay here at Northern Queen Inn and I hope the owners and her boss take note of her presence and how much her energy reciprocates into your business.
