“My dog has been eating this pet food her whole life, and it’s wonderful! i’m very pleased with the clean ingredients and reasonable price. I’m blind so my lovely pet is also my guide dog, and The school where I got her feeds all their dogs Nature’s Select. Those are all very expensive dogs, so I trust their choice for food! And even now, Nature’s Select gives me a discount since she is a service dog, so I also love there support for service dogs, which I know they do in multiple ways. And I love getting my dog food delivered to my door automatically! Highly recommend this company!!!”
“I can’t say enough about Cal State Dog supplies. I took my 3 year old pit bull who has not gone to many groomers due to their fear of his breed. From the first call with Danny where he shared with me how they treat dogs coming in regardless of breed. He provided me with step by step of what to expect for my dog getting groomed. There no Harm approach put ease to my mind and helped me feel like for once I found someone who would care for him in the way that he should be. Danny called me to give me updates on my pup and tell me how well he did and validated that he was not in fact aggressive as others have made him out to be. It was an emotional experience for me. “I brought my dog in (65-70lb runty boxer mutt) for a nail trim last weekend. Waiting area is fairly small but service was fast and friendly. These groomers seem to have a good handle on the dogs and their business. There were multiple other dogs in for other services, so the place was as noisy as you'd expect but if you're reading this then you probably wouldn't mind that much. Paid approx. $25 after service with no wait time and no appointment necessary, YMMV. There's a walking trail next door and a donut shop across Lambert if you get bored or can't stand the waiting room.”

“So glad I found this awesome shop! Today I utilized the self dog washing service. Super clean and organized. They provided everything I needed to bathe and dry my puppy! The staff was super friendly and I had an awesome conversation with owner! I will be back next Sunday!

It's also exciting coming and seeing the birds they have! Once in awhile they get some pretty cool/unique looking birds its great! “Spectacular! I needed pine pellets (which I use for cat litter and I'm tired of paying premium prices because someone slapped the word "feline" on the bag). Thought I was going to have to drive wayyyy out to the farm store. Someone suggested I check this place out. So glad I did! Picked up several bags of pellets (40 lb bag goes for under $10) and got a 50lb bag of bird feed while I was at it. Pay at the counter, take your receipt outside to the helpful friendly folks with the forklifts, and they load it into your car for you.”
“Went to this place to buy some birthday goodies for my fur baby. I liked the variety of snacks and the option to walk in and grab a small cake in their fridge section. Some of their products do sell out fast including the cakes/cupcakes so I recommend going early. I bought a peanut butter cupcake and some pumpkin cookies. The cupcake was a lot dryer and dense than the previous barkery I tried, but all that mattered was that my doggo loved every crumb and I will be back.”

“I absolutely love this place and is by far the best I've been to locally. Not only are they reasonably priced, but the staff really enjoy what they do and are true pet lovers. I've been here a few times with one dog, and I recently just picked up a second dog that will be visiting this place soon. Some things I was not aware of as a dog parent and the owner were kind enough to have a great conversation with and educating me on what work or doesn't work. Getting a same day appointment can be a bit hectic, but that's what happens when you don't already have an appointment. Sometimes, I get lucky to get the same day, but that's okay too. All in all, this is an amazing salon for the fur babies!”
“I’ve been going to Omar’s since they were in Cypress. Their new location is the smallest so far. I’m a little worried since they’ve been there since September and still don’t have a sign on the building. Hopefully, it’s just trying to get it done through the city. They only had a few birds and food and toys were paired down from their old location. I wish them the best of luck and hope there around for a while.”
“been a customer here for years. I have two rabbits and they need timothy hay. The large bags YL feed store offer are a life saver, and the 5-6 flakes really helps with making the hay go a long way. truly appreciate what they do here and highly recommend specifically for rabbit parents. Extensive dog, cat and other exotic animal goods as well!”
“Little Paws has been so good to my older Maltipoo. They've always done a great job with her grooming. Even as my dog gets into her senior years and she's become more cranky, they manage to cut her hair very nicely. Plus I love their no anesthesia teeth cleaning too.”

Notice the little chicks---so adorable and no surprise that they are all female. They are "sexed" at the hatchery per Wes (who I realized is the owner) and a Cal Poly Pomona graduate.
Not pretentious. Simple feed and supplies. They deliver direct too as I was leaving I spotted a truck full of hay pull out. Great help today---heavy bag. Prices are fair. Thanks to Wes & Shannon Alcott!”
“I work next door to Top Dog. They are getting ready to expand to the suite next to the current location and the construction was a bit noisy. I went over to ask if there was anything we can do about the noise and they immediately prioritized the request. It’s not to often that you find businesses that cater to their neighbors like that! “Wonderful place. Went for the dog self wash. Zero negative things to say. Products offered to wash my dog were awesome, better than anything I've used at home or at other self wash or grooming locations. Shopped in store afterwards and found the store very clean and organized. Staff was so helpful and offered me a coupon to save on my purchase. Ample parking was also a plus. I will be back.”

Right now, their adoption center features two adorable 12-month-old bonded kittens eagerly waiting for a loving home, and at the front of the store, two cute, friendly guinea pigs are also seeking their forever family. The staff is genuinely caring, attentive, and passionate about the well-being of every animal, creating a welcoming environment that feels more like a family than just a store.
