“We went there looking for honey for my son‘s allergies. Who’s five years old I do carry one Sacramento local honey to help him with that. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and polite a so honey by the pound or by the jar bring your own jar or buy a jar there they also have prepackaged honey and gifts and accessories! We purchased a little over a pound of honey and brought our own jar. It came out to 13 bucks and we also picked up a super cute little mini wooden honey serving stick! The local Sacramento wildflower honey is quite yummy it is sweet, flowery, fresh, and quite delicious tasting honey that I think tastes better Costco’s Kirkland raw honey from Brazil that comes in the plastic bear shaped 3-pack bottles! We will return again for more when we run out of the local honey!”
“My favorite comic shop in Sacramento. Board games, table top, card games, comics, collectables and all for list price or better. Also has a large table area in the back for card games and table top games. I've found some pretty rare comics and games here and will always come back for more.”
“This place is phenomenal. Super friendly and welcoming. They don't over charge like a lot of places out here in Sacramento. They stick to retail or close to retail prices.”
“LOVE THIS PLACE! Barbara and Linda are so kind and sweet.
The detail put into these pieces is amazing. They have everything you’d need to create your own dollhouse.
Will definitely be returning!”
“Best place to buy sealed Magic the Gathering priducts in town. Friendly employees and convenient locations in town. Great selection of comics and back issues. Their point system makes buying sealed boxes of cards the best deal in town. A1 also has a great selection of single cards in their case.”
“Really nice employees! I just got into Warhammer 40k and went here to buy paints. One of their employees, Bruno, was really nice and spent 15 minutes asking me questions and helping me pick out some paints to get started.”
“Went in today to look at Pokemon singles, guy who was working was super cool and genuine. Talked about his Ohtani card he pulled 1/1 and some Alien Dark Horse Comics. Enjoyed the experience and hospitality. This felt like what early 2000s nostalgia shops had to offer it felt old school. Shop is solid… liked the vintage Pokemon and comic selection.”
“the shop is small enough that you could pass by without a second glance but stepping inside you find narrow aisles lined with cases and boxes stacked high so that every turn feels like a discovery and though the space is tight it carries a warmth that makes you want to linger much like in the lord of the rings when bilbo discovered the quiet comforts of the shire before gandalf arrived with fireworks to celebrate his birthday and the fields filled with lanterns and laughter and food and drink while the hobbits gathered to share in the joy of the night until the moment when bilbo made his choice to slip away from it all leaving behind the songs and the bright lights and setting in motion a story that would carry far beyond the borders of his home.”
“The only place to go if you can't figure out what to get a young person a gift. I felt like a kid again just checking out all the things they carry. A big plus because everything is price marked. Great products great and friendly atmosphere. ?”
“They had a great variety of options in the art supplies section. Unfortunately their stock didn't match the shelves, and I ended up walking out with something close to, but not exactly what I wanted, even though it was on the shelf as if it were in stock.
I get that it happens, and they were extremely nice and apologetic about it. Would be 5 stars if they just had the shelf match their stock.”

“I've just finished replacing the crazed and faded windows on my 40 year old sailboat with duplicates fabricated by your team. The fit and finish were perfect and she's ready for another 40 years!
Travis, thank you and your team for the care and artistry you put into my project.”
“Nice shop with plenty of arts and craft for your school projects. Lots of random home decorations to choose from too.
Plan enough shopping time because the store closes at 8pm.”
“I had some very big custom paintings that needed to be framed. One of them was 6 feet tall.
Michael’s has done such a fantastic job. The one Painting cost about $900 to frame. Expensive, but it is so amazing. Every guest that comes home Gives multiple compliments about it.”
“I have been wanting to come to Tandy for a couple years now and was excited when I saw they moved a few miles from.
I met Ashley my first time there. I love her! Knowledgeable, helpful, fun to talk to! She makes me excited to learn more and get into leather work.
I was finally able to attend my first class today, where I met Wesley (volunteer teacher for the class) and London, whom works at Tandy. London is amazing too! I could see myself sitting with Ashley and London for hours. I can tell, they are what makes the store a great place to come to. They get you excited!
I must say though, its feel this store is lacking on the classes. One set of tools for 8 people, the volunteer teacher wesley was not able to arrive earlier to get material cut and ready, so our 10:30 class didn't start till 11:45. It made it so a few people had to leave without being able to finish their project and buy things they likely wouldn't have bought (at least not yet) just so they could finish at home. I felt bad for Wesley.
This makes me nervous for future classes. I have a class scheduled in a couple weeks and I don't want to show up, wait forever for things to be ready and feel like we don't get the chance to play with our pieces.
Tandy needs to write better descriptions of the classes as well. I signed up for a class saying key fob.. I find out its to use temporary tattoos on leather. I'm personally not interested in that. I want to use tools. Knowing that ahead of time would be nice to not soak up space for those that do want to take that class.
(The class was making a leather cover for a composition notebook. I am so bummed we didnt get a chance to decorate. Overall, good class. I learned something.)”
“The owner is a super friendly guy and his shop creates a fun, welcoming atmosphere whether you are coming in just to buy some packs or attending one of their trade night events. Definitely my go-to card shop!”
“I've sold cards to D&P twice now and both times Dave has been great! He is transparent and makes the process easy, always trying to make it a win-win for both sides. They also have a good wax selection. I definitely recommend D&P & Dave.”
“A-Z darts have recently become one of the stores I've consistently shopped at online. Sure, there is Amazon and other stores but nobody, even amazon, is shipping orders as fast as these guys. I have ordered once while in Washinton and twice here in Hawaii and I get a "shipped" status within 24 hours. When in Washinton. It came within 48 hours (something I'm not used to.)
Their consistent service has made me a believer in entrusting them with ANYTHING darts related. I reccomend shopping on their online website, the variety is comforting... I even got Darrboard parts for an older model Granboard. Hand down, an amazing gem. ?”
