One of the reps gave us a call and told us that he has the paint samples for us and would drop it off. He came in with a whole board with the schemes, paint samples and information for me. “First time in this location. Thought it was just great. Good to have a store in the neighborhood as East Sac Hardware closed down a year or two again. Found both items I was looking for yesterday. They do have a nice variety of inventory. I found the staff attentive and looking to help customers. Parking was decent although they do seem to allow Trader Joes customers to park in their lot and can see how that could be a problem as it was not just a few I witnessed (and you can tell by the location of cars in the lot). I will certainly be back and absolutely give this Ace Hardware two thumbs up.”

“This warehouse delivers. If you have done your homework you will find the treasure deals. For instance the faucets were priced lower at Lowe's but the tile flooring was substantially lower priced here. Well worth a visit if you're remodeling!”

“The oldest paint store in Sacramento. Is now a store by so many names. It was originally the Fuller / O'brien paint store. It traces its heritage back to the mid 1870s when Joseph Steffens was the owner. Joseph lived at the corner of 16th an H. In the mansion that he would sell to the State to become the Governors Mansion. I have been very happy with their service for the last 45 years. Great and knowledgeable staff. Primarily dealing with professional painters, but helpful to the average Joe.”

After my initial post, I was contacted shortly via phone by Joel (store manager) and unfortunately due to work, I was unavailable. I did receive a very detailed voicemail about what was done. Joel informed me that the store hours were updated at the store level to reflect those shown online and that he had spoken to the employee in question. I appreciate the promptness in which he reached out to me regarding my experience and that steps were immediately taken to prevent future experiences like we had.”
