Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) is a community-owned, not-for-profit electric service that has been providing safe, reliable, and affordable electricity to its customers for over 70 years. It's an electric provider, what else needs to be said? They've always provided interrupted power service and offer different programs for low income families.
