“Staff friendly store well kept. Outside the store is very filthy needs parking lot scrubbing and needs to keep trash in trash can and make sure you break down ?. it helps you save money on the bill. Make sure your store kept clean. I am the boy who asked for an extra bag who was picking up trash off floor.

“Very good prices, the store is very clean, fresh fruits and vegetables, the only complaint I have is that a cashier there offends us by checking the stroller and if we bring things from another store she asks us if we have already paid for what we have in the stroller and well it is It's very annoying that they want to see you as a thief, the truth is that sometimes I go to other stores or to exchange Wic and I go there to buy my meats and vegetables but I'm already doubting whether to continue going ?”
“this location is clean with friendly staff. prices are high and get higher by the week. most things I look for are in stock. shopping baskets are gathered often and available inside the store. meat department does a great job. I think this is my favorite Safeway and happy to shop there.”

“Best tequila selection on the Monterey Peninsula and quite possibly the best selection in the Bay Area! The employees are helpful and friendly as well, which to me, is a big plus. “Cool store, been going here since it was called Monte Mart. Now Foods Co. It was the original "Superwalmart". U could buy clothes to food ,varieties of product. Even had a pharmacy.”

This is not the first nor second or even third time I have encountered issues with this person and I am pretty sure I am not the only one having this problem. “I went to the Safeway store on N Main in Salinas, Ca searching for Le Brea cranberry walnut bread. I had checked a few other Safeways but to no avail.
Emily, an employee was restocking the Safeway signature brand bread and hadn’t heard of the product. Even though she was ensconced in her bread project, she retreated to the back to get info as to whether the store stocked it.
After my waiting for ten minutes or so she emerged with 2 frozen loaves which she had
rummaged for in the cold freezer.
It is rare these days to find someone as helpful as Emily. She went far beyond what most employees would have done. Her customer service was A plus. Thank you Emily.
I don’t often shop at Safeway, but if needing bread, I will definitely have Emily search for this elusive item.

I learned from a different employee that this bread was not stocked because they didn’t have a tag on the shelf for it. Strange reason. Print a tag.”

“The Corner market is my favorite neighborhood store, it was my mother's favorite market also, she has been gone for twenty years now, I have moved out of the city limits, but still come back 3 to 4 times per month. It is well stocked with Mexican groceries, fresh produce, the staff is very friendly. They serve delicious tacos, tortas and burritos at their deli”
“I received the absolute best customer service today from one of your employees, Jorge M. He offered assistance upon my arrival and helped me find the best pics of fruits that were within my budget, which I was really grateful for. He carefully helped me choose which fruits were the best to take home (ripe enough) per fruit because I wasn’t sure which ones. He was very friendly, kind, patient, helpful and caring. I’m writing this review solely out of Choice, he didn’t ask me to or anything. I’m just really grateful for the amazing customer service that was provided here by Jorge M. Give this staff member promotion/raise cuz the customer service was amazing!! Thank you and God bless you Jorge, i appreciate your help so much!”

“I have been using this shop for all meats for several years now. Always will displayed, prices are great, service personal. I appreciate being able to see and select cuts, instead of having to buy a pre-package which may have cuts that are less useful for me. Will cut to order, and prices always markedly below chain grocery stores. I have not purchased much else here so cannot speak to that but find it only slightly annoying that meats and everything else are purchased at separate registers. I will admit that I avoid the pre-seasoned meats, just my thing, not really into heavy seasonings, so cannot rate that, and want to make sure I can see the actual meat I am buying. I routinely drive farther, past a number of other shops to go here.”
