When I went to buy my phone, Naomi went out of her way to acquire my phone from another location and brought it to the store for me to pick up on her day off. I took my last receipt with me and headed to Sherwood Gardens. Personnel reception was excellent. “Can I just start by saying how incredibly helpful Ignacio was? Originally, we had stopped by the Verizon store in Prunedale and the rep only seemed interested in pawning us off. We had two issues. 1. I had been sold a screen protector that was $60 the day before ata different location when I bought a new phone and didn’t realize the price, so I needed a refund. He said I couldn’t do it at that location, but that Salinas’ could help. 2. My mother in law’s phone stopped working. We thought it might have been an issue with the SIM card, as we had issues like that before with a different phone. He didn’t think that was the issue, but was ‘kind’ enough to let us use his tool to swap SIM cards between our two phones to check. Needless to say, it didn’t work.
We ended up going to the Salina’s store and Ignacio helped us with the refund right away. We inquired about our second problem and he took the time to get a new SIM card and check himself. Same results. He then checked all yards in options for us, including any and all upgrades and offers. We didn’t walk in expecting to buy my mother in law a phone. Especially since I just bought myself a new one the day before. But Ignacio’s professionalism and genuine care for our satisfaction led us to make that decision. I’m a twenty year, loyal Verizon customer and this is the reason why. Employees like Ignacio. I won’t name the employee from the Prunedale location. Perhaps he was correct in that he couldn’t do our refund at that store. But between the two employees, Ignacio shined.”
