“I recently visited this store for the first time and it was a fantastic experience. The clothes, accessories and apothecary are beautifully curated and the store has a wonderful peaceful vibe. I was caught off guard as there are so many nice boutiques in Marin and this one provided a unique experience - comfortable and full of light. I met Addy there who helped me select an amazing versatile piece to add to my wardrobe. She is a true gem for the store and the brand - authentic, welcoming and genuinely personable. Love this store. “Was visiting Mill Valley with friends and on a whim we decided to get our ears pierced. Walked in and was helped right away! Nicole was very helpful with all the jewelry and advice on placement. Eddy was so kind while performing the piercings. He went out of his way to bring mindfulness and incorporated deep breathing to make the experience positive. “While shopping for a trip, my partner and I visited the Gap Factory Store in Novato. This store is in the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center. It sells affordable, casual clothes for men, women, and kids. You can find everyday items like comfy T-shirts, classic Gap hoodies, timeless jeans, activewear, and seasonal items. The store makes shopping easy with in-store browsing and buy-online-pick-up-in-store options. You can also return items at any Gap Factory location.
I quickly found some basic items at good prices. My partner had a longer list of things to try on, but also found a few items. Overall, it was a successful shopping trip!

“This Banana Republic Factory Store is one of the better factory outlets I’ve visited. I went in looking for a couple of basics—good-quality white T-shirts and a white button-down, and ended up finding those, plus a sports jacket I hadn’t planned to buy. That’s usually a good sign when a store has both selection and value.
The layout is straightforward and easy to navigate. As you walk in, the women’s section is on the right, and the men’s on the left, and the store is a good size without feeling overwhelming. Everything was neatly organized, and one thing that stood out was how clean and well-kept the fitting rooms were, something you don’t always see.
The staff was helpful without being pushy, and pricing was very reasonable, with many items discounted in the 20–50% range. Overall, it’s a solid stop if you’re at Vintage Oaks and looking for quality basics or a few good deals without having to dig too hard.”

“Fabletics has good workout clothes that I have been told is comfy and look good. My partner really like their leggings and scrubs —they fit well and feel nice. The prices are decent, especially with the VIP membership, but you do have to remember to skip the month if you’re not buying. Overall, it’s a good place for stylish activewear.”
“What I loved most about this store was the uniqueness of the shirts and the fact they weren't the traditional same old souvenir shirts you'd find elsewhere in touristy areas. They had a great variety, many that can appeal to any gender and age range as well. Prices were just about what you'd expect but the materials also felt quality too.”
“The Banana Republic store in The Village at Corte Madera is a great place to visit because it usually has the latest products.
During one of our recent visits, we were looking for a couple of specific items but had trouble finding the correct sizes. We asked one of the associates, a young man who was organizing the shelves, for assistance. He quickly went to the back room to help us find what we needed. As sometimes happens, we had to return later to exchange one of the items for a different size. Again, this was not a problem. The associates were all very helpful in ensuring we found what we needed. Overall, it’s a nice store in a good location with excellent service and quality products at reasonable prices!”
