“Love visiting this children’s bookstore. It just makes me happy to go there.
They offer lots of storytimes and special events in their outdoor seating area. They also have (or had?) a podcast, but I haven’t listened to it. Great community spirit!
There’s a side area of curated books for gown-up’s that will keep the adults entertained.
My favorite part is the gift wrapping for only $1. If you’re on the way to a kid’s birthday party and forgot a gift, stop here. They’ve got you covered!
Thank you to the Reading Bug for bringing the joy of reading to the next generation.”
“Great used bookstore! Staff were friendly and helpful. They have two floors with large collection of sets and titles in various price ranges. They also have decent amount of used bookstore on Palo Alto and Stanford University history.”
“Kepler’s Books in Palo Alto/Menlo Park truly stands out as a beloved institution—its staff is warm and knowledgeable, and the shelves thoughtfully curated. While living many years in the Bay Area during graduate school, and for work, my wife and I made it our Friday-night ritual to browse the selection and soak in the great atmosphere.
Kepler’s hosts an incredible lineup of author events throughout the year, featuring well-known authors like Andy Weir (The Martian) and Liane Moriarty (Big Little Lies, Nine Perfect Strangers).
Kepler’s is incomparable—the perfect blend of community, culture, and literary charm. I really miss it after moving away from the Bay Area.”
“The book I wanted wouldn't make it from Amazon on time but I was able to search the Books Inc inventory on their website, drive down and pick it up. The store is cozy, the staff are helpful and if you need a book they are worth a visit.”

“Beautifully full of books from a variety of topics. As a bibliophile you can peruse without interference. Every book is priced, so no surprises there. My go-to bookstore when I want something to make me happy

“Very nice bookstore, clean, well-equipped, it feels cozy and has a wide assortment of children's books (it's what we were going to look for) and in addition to books we liked that they have very nice Legos of plants for sale.”
“Such a lovely children’s bookstore! They have a very wide range of selection for books and toys for little ones. Worry not, they also have a small section for young adults as well.Personally, I love their collection of puzzles. There are many rare puzzles that I couldn’t find it online or Amazon. These are amazing!Oh, the staff is very friendly. They also have a gift wrapping station.”
“I could spend all day in this Barnes & Noble. I love the sections that I'm interested in: Business, Self Study, Sports, Current Events, Study Aids. Great books for myself and for giving as gifts to friends and my old high school. The staff are friendly and courteous.”
“Really great and popular library! Nice high atmosphere for both quiet study spaces and conversational areas for tutoring or wfh spaces.Bathrooms pretty clean for a public library”
“Three floors in totalThere is a restaurant, resting area, and bookstore on the second floor. The first floor mainly contains chairs, clothes and most souvenirs. In the basement are children’s clothing, toys, and some stationery”
“Books Inc. is a very cool bookshop located in terminal two of San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The decor is warm and inviting, there are literally thousands of books ranging from children’s, teenager, to adult. Books of almost any genre are available. They also sell toys and stuffed animals for the kids. Great place to stop by if you’re ever in the airport and are looking for a good Red. I recommend.”
“What a beautiful bookstore with such a generous inventory! With time to kill waiting for a delayed flight & a book in my carry-on I had finished hours before, I was so happy to find that Compass had a huge number of books on my want-to read list (not just the limited amount of trending/newer titles that most of the smaller book sections in airport gift stores have). If you’re looking for your next read ahead of travel at SFO, please give them a visit - they also have a store in Terminal 2!”
“I was disappointed this time because there was not a good men collection. So I had to spend my money on kids and women clothes. But I give them 4 stars because of my previous experiences there”

“I have come to this Hudson News Store in San Francisco International Airport many times. Sometimes, I wanted a snack or water. Sometimes, I just want to check out the gifts or other things in there when I have to kill time at the airport! They have enough choices of snacks and drinks. Of course, the price is higher because of the airport. The store is clean and very well organized whenever I'm here. The workers at this location are friendly. The best thing about this store is they're never overly crowded.”
“Such a magical toy store!! I was tempted to blow my entire paycheck here — there’s just so many wonderfully curated toys, board games (my dire weakness), and books that I wanted to take home. My toddler picked out a super cool cargo truck that I’d never seen before, made by Luke’s Toy Factory. So many beautifully designed things you can’t find on Amazon/Target! We even got a mini sweet surprise at checkout. I can’t wait to take my older son here tomorrow. Going to recommend this spot to my boss and see if we can order our school’s novels/textbooks from Reach and Teach from now on :)”
