“Very friendly, helpful staff. Meat looks great and prices are reasonable for high quality meat. They were will to cut a brisket while I waited since I didn’t have enough people for the full thing. Although it is 25 minutes from me I will definitely be back!”
“I absolutely love this place. They have a loyal customer in me I just wish if they had online food delivery that would make this place even more amazing. I will still give this place five star, but I hope they consider doing online delivery in the future.”

“This place is not just a carniceria... It's an experience!
The people are wonderfully helpful, but it is busy. So know what you want.
Be sure to park in the big lot across the street, grab a number right away, and post up. Plan to wait 20-30 minutes to get your meat cut.”
“Very nice and well kept kosher market. Robert does a really good job of keeping it stocked with hummus, kosher meat, and challah. The meat was fresh and flavorful.”
“Best butcher shop period. Not just San Diego, period. Yes we all know their sandwich menu is chefs kiss. However, I love their butcher fridge. Every week I grab the butter, and some pre marinated chicken. Their retail shelf is top notch to. Their customer service is very friendly to. Even if there’s a line they never rush me and always take time to give suggestions. I ❤️ you Wise Ox”
“Recently moved to One Paseo and discovered The Butchery. Their menu is traditional but unique and well prepared. You can tell management cares about their product. Hope this place sticks around because it’s nice to have an option like The Butchery amongst the colocated chains.”
“The tacos here are very good I tried 3 tacos de cabeza and 2 tacos de carne asada. The guy is here from 7:30am til 9pm hard worker and good quality food his station was clean towards the end of the day too”
“It's family owned and they're very friendly and helpful. They are involved in the community. T1hey usual put on a community Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner that is free for all, especially the homeless. Louis market is part convenience store, produce stand and gift shop. Most items for sale are reasonable. They used to have a wonderful deli, but have closed it since the person who ran it fell ill. It's an asset to the community it serves.”
“Could not find fresh veal shanks for osso bucco anywhere local. Found them online. Super fresh and great prices. Fantastic service. Worth the long drive from North County.”
“For Truck drivers, no docks. Park the truck in the back. Enter from the left hand side facing the building, Exit from right. They use forklift and hand pump to unload. Fast unloading. Just don’t have pallets sideways, they ll charge for that.
Edit- Appointment 6am. Checked in 5.30am. unloaded at 5.45am. Overnight Parking in the back. Rest Area, 35 miles away, Aliso Creek at i5.”
“I recently discovered this place as it was recommended by my brother. I buy the seasoned paleta or lomo de res and it is delicious! The slices are thin and the texture is perfect. My kids usually are not fans of carne asada but when I buy it here they love it. I highly recommend this place. Their staff is also very friendly and helpful.”
“I love shopping at Siesel’s Meats. The meat counter is the BOMB! I love their House Smoked Bacon, short ribs, Prime Rib and meatloaf blend. They have the best Tomahawk Rib Eye. It is amazing. Everyone behind the meat counter is so helpful and friendly. They take the time to wrap everything with care. Love their wine selections. The deli is great. They make really great sandwiches. I love that they accept special orders and will custom cut steaks to your preferred thickness.”
“I tried the curbside pick up today. There was an issue with my card, Peter provided me the number to call.
Ashley shopped for me. She was great! She checked in with me while she shopped for price changes and product availability. They brought it out to my car , just fantastic. Great feature for people who are not able to shop on their own.
Thank you! Job well done!”
“Great little store I go there all time when getting my truck detailed. They have little bit everything. Great little store recommended for people around area. Product quality was amazing.”
“Stump’s Family Marketplace, a beloved fixture in the Point Loma and Ocean Beach neighborhoods, prides itself on offering competitive prices and an assortment of unique products. However, if you don’t quite fit the local mold, don’t expect a warm welcome. The meat department is a standout, showcasing quality cuts that could make any carnivore swoon. The store also boasts a fresh produce section and a clean environment, perfect for those who appreciate a tidy shopping experience. For those planning events, in-house catering is available, featuring a delightful range of dishes to suit any occasion. And let’s not forget the extensive selection of fine wines and craft beers, ensuring that your shopping trip is as sophisticated as it is essential. Stump’s Market is your go-to destination for all the grocery needs your family could possibly have—if you can navigate the social dynamics, that is!”
“Man the rib eye is no joke . I’ve never cooked it flawlessly, their delicious meat made it so easy for me . The shrimp and lobster tail was on point as well , all fresh . I will be coming weekly now . ???”
