“After being told by my local San Diego County Credit Union, that they were very busy, and that I should have set an appointment I asked the kind representative of that were any other credit unions in the area. I was referred to Mission Federal a couple of blocks away. When I arrived to Mission Federal I noticed North Island credit union was a bit more modern and sleek, looking so I walked in. Kudos to Senior financial services rep, Raquel Michel, who turned my quick inquiry into a quick account opening. Racquel was very professional, personable, and I was more than happy to set up my account with north island, credit union. During our conversation, I mentioned spending time with my granddaughter, and Racquel jumped up and provided me with a beautiful backpack with school supplies at my granddaughter, ended up loving. The contrast in customer service, and in commitment to the community is startling between the two credit unions. I visited that day. Great job to work out for making a regular guy. Feel important and welcome!”

“Came here with a friend, the ATM outside was not working, as it was being service. The staff is truly amazing here very friendly sociable and gets you in-and-out very quickly, even when there is a line. They have a very cozy area to wait for a banker and the line for the teller moves very quickly. I also noticed a front customer service agent who was answering questions for a member. Definitely a welcoming bank. Very clean and located at the Chula Vista Center near Las Tres Catina and what use to be Sears. Plenty of parking and entrance to Chula Vista Center.”

“Great Credit Union. It's used by most of the schools. It's nice how they offer accounts to the elementary school kids to learn about savings. They also have a coin machine in the lobby. Love to see the kids putting in their coins that goes into their account. Have my car note there and have a great rate. No complaints thus far.”
