“Smaller Ralphs that located in Point Loma but away from Liberty Station, so you can avoid the crazy parking, but still it has a very small parking, and the traffic on Rosecrans Street also not ideal, anyway I was doing a little shopping on dill pickles spears because Costco only carries the baby kind, I found a few brands here.They pretty much have everything other Ralphs have, except I couldn't find the Lactaid brand ice cream, but they do have other dairy free brands, which was fine.Finally I ran into Channel 933 radio station doing their street promo with one of the store brand Haig's Hummus in honor of National Hummus Day, they gave all the customers vip coupons to try any flavors for free.Unfortunately Haig's Hummus were stored at a different section from the regular hummus brands, and not many employees were aware of that, lucky for me, I was helped by one of the Haig's employee himself, remember if you want to get this brand, the hummus will be located at the kosher section, fyi if you're looking for it next time.I picked the garlic original since I was not into spicy flavor.Finally the store is very short on staffs, maybe 2 of the registers open, the rest is self check out, but most of them didn't work unless you get to an employee, hopefully they will hire more people.”
“Went in to get a cup of coffee one morning. The barista was friendly and got my drink quickly. The supermarket is clean, open, and has a variety of fruits/vegetables and even some exotic ones. Shelves looked well stocked.”
“In town lodging at an Air BnB and forgot some essentials. We had planned to go to another store but they were closed. Von's was on our route so we stopped the car and headed in! It was about 20 minutes til closing so not many shoppers. We grabbed our items and a few other goods and headed to the register. To my delightful surprise, Von's is part of Safeway, which is a store in my market, so I was able to take advantage of the sale prices by being a Safeway Club members. Our cashier Zen was really nice and funny. I grew up shopping at Von's with my grandmother in another city. I'm grateful my recent shopping experience was an example of what I remembered as a child.”

“This review is strictly for the Thrifty Ice Cream. I love going to this location because it is close to my house and super easy to just run to really quick for some bomb ice cream. They keep it frozen but not hard. So it gets perfectly soft by the time I get home. They have so many flavors and it's so much cheaper than any regular ice cream palor. No matter what time I come in, no one ever seems to have a problem getting the ice cream for me, and I've definitely come in late and when they were busy. And the best part is they accept ebt...... great snack for the kids and even better treat for myself without indulging in a full-size container of ice cream.”

“My spouse and I went in late this afternoon (2/28) to the Pharmacylooking for meds for our 13 year old German Shepherd after a disasteriousvisit to the Von's Pharmacy in Scripps Ranch. We were helped at the Pharmacy by "Judy" who went above and beyond helping us find the meds that had been prescribed by our Vet which were very expensive. We had a coupon from GoodRX for Pets that was problematic. Judy spent at least 1/2 hour to 45 minutes on the phone with GoodRX trying to access the information to allow us to use the GoodRX coupon. Judy went above and beyond for us and our dog "Santino"”

“I normally buy food here, cooked ready to eat or groceries, I have nothing but good comments, the service of the people working here is great, they really all are looking for a way to help but they get to serve some jrks as always , I've seen it twice happening in line and once they got robbed by waking away as is happening more often, regular 20-30s guys who can easily work but decide to attack stores, the employees just get sad as they have their hands tied by the government who asks pretty much to let them go, they can't even touch them. Anyways, keep up the good work, the ambiance on the store is great, always good music and clean.”
