Tillys is a great store with a good selection of clothes. The staff can be very friendly and helpful, with one employee noted as being engaging from the minute a customer walked in. That employee asked what they were looking for, walked them directly to the exact item, and provided swift, efficient service. The employee also has excellent taste in music. However, other customers have found the employees to seem like they do not want to be there, appearing out of it and lacking basic courtesy like saying "you're welcome." A significant point of feedback is that the store is freezing cold, described as way out of hand and excessively cold even for early December in San Diego.
