Warwick's is a beautiful, iconic local bookstore and premier destination in La Jolla, San Diego. Family owned since 1896, it is a beacon of civilization and taste, known for being independent, highly curated, unique, and fun. The store offers a great variety of books, gifts, stationery, fine pens from historic companies, and art supplies. It features a great mix of specialty books and current popular items, with friendly staff providing good recommendations. The establishment feels both airy and snug, hosting many author events yearly. While parking in the area is terrible, the location is great, close to the beach with good views, and near other shops and restaurants. It is a favorite, neat destination for locals and tourists alike, absolutely worth visiting.
Nice bookstore with friendly staff. The store has two parts: one side with things like greeting cards and tchotchke type things and another side with books. They have a pretty decent selection of books and the staff will help search their inventory or order books for you if they don’t have it on the shelves.

Great book store and gifts in San Diego. Close to the beach and has good views around too. Got good variety of historic pen companies and stationary.

I just discovered this book store and am super excited to go back. Unfortunately, it was at a point when my time was limited, so I wasnt able to spend as much time as I would have liked to, but all sorts of fun stuff in there I cant wait to check out more thoroughly (but at least I have something to look forward to!)?
Best for Christmas Shopping Because: Warwick's is more than a neighborhood bookstore. Have a look at the section of gifts and stationary in the space next door.
