Liah's Pet Grooming Spa
1404 San Fernando Rd #106, San FernandoI love Liah's Pet Grooming. I switched dog groomers from Arts Grooming Pet and Supplies to Liahs because my dog unfortunately got pink eye after I took her for a bath and hair cut. I love how all of the workers treat the dogs kindly. Whenever I drop off or pick up, the dogs seem to be happy and at ease. They always do a superb job and pricing is affordable which is a bonus. Thankful for them and their kindness and patience.

Dill Veterinary Hospital & Reproductive Services
11207 San Fernando Rd, San FernandoToday was my pup's first visit to Dr. Johnson to address a digestive issue which has stumped my usual vet for months.
On-site parking was plentiful. I was immediately impressed with the staff -- they took the time to ask a lot of questions about the reason for our visit and what had been going on with the dog. They really listened and offered a lot of valuable information before we even saw Dr. Johnson.
Dr Johnson took us exactly on time and was a breath of fresh air. She seemed incredibly knowledgeable, which have me a lot of confidence. Also, I never felt rushed. She took plenty of time to listen to the entire history and talk through what seems to be a very sensible and practical treatment plan.
These days, most vets (not to mention doctors) make you feel like just another number on their endless conveyor belt. That was definitely not my experience with Dr. Johnson and the staff. They listened carefully, made me feel heard and took the time to make sure I understood everything they said. In my opinion, that is a level of professionalism and care very rarely seen these days!

Antojitos Tacana
14705 Rinaldi St, San FernandoI got the enchilada chilena and the Platano con Crema. I love the prices. I love the way it’s decorated. It’s really cute. I can see. They’re very proud of their home country. The food was prepared . Well, it reminds me a bit of Costa Rican food for me. personally, I must not be used to the food because enchilada chilena I felt like I had a lot of pickled cabbage and I couldn’t really lift it so I had to break the tostada and just eat it with my hands aside from that there is no restroom, but the server was very efficient. I was able to go in and out no problem and I felt comfortable alone.

The Grill Stories
233 N Maclay Ave A, San FernandoI’ve walked by this spot several times on my way to the local brewery and finally decided to stop in for lunch today. I’m glad I did. Everything was excellent.
The food came out quickly and was hot, fresh, and very flavorful. I had the lamb kebab plate, and I’d easily give it a 5 out of 5. The service and overall experience were great.
I’ll definitely be back soon with my wife. Highly recommended.

San Fernando Brewing Company
425 Park Ave, San FernandoDropped by here after I got a hair cut since it was down the street from my hair stylist! My bf has been wanting to give this spot a try and it was perfect because they also had a Hibachi Truck out front (forgot to get the name). Nice open space, street parking but can get really busy. Staff are super friendly and they also have merch! The hibachi food truck was fantastic! Make sure to ask for their garlic butter if they are around, not sure how often they are at this brewery. I didn't get a photo but got a nice pinkish/purply Sour beer. I'm not much of a drinker and really enjoyed their Mexican cola with my food but whatever I tried from my bf's order was super delish! Looking forward to coming back with some friends. The TV's they have in here were huge and played sports. IG: @ammysalamii

Los Camarones Tacos Mariscos
1118 Pico St, San FernandoWe were looking for some authentic mariscos close by, and we stumbled upon this quaint little restaurant. It is in a lovely part of downtown San Fernando and the restaurant has a welcoming vibe and is very clean. Parking is no problem, and it is next to a huge parking lot and a historic site from the 19th century. First thing our server brought was the chips and salsa but to our surprise it included a little pot of bean dip with it. The beans were made with lard and were fresh and flavorful. We also ordered some guacamole and it was delicious, no shortcuts- with onions, tomato and cilantro. Anyone who has eaten at a number of Mexican restaurants will tell you that beans and guacamole inform your tastebuds of how much love has gone into the preparation. These were amazing. I ordered the fried shrimp which came with 7 large shrimp, a small baked potato, salad, and rice and beans. The beans were different from the bean dip but just as tasty, the rice had carrots and corn in it, and were seasoned perfectly. The fried shrimp were the best fried shrimp I've ever had. The breading was crisp and fresh, and the shrimp cooked perfectly inside, not overcooked. It was served with a wonderful spicy salsa, and large, handmade corn tortillas. My husband had the shrimp ranchero which came with the potato, salad, etc. The ranchero sauce was absolutely memorable, my husband said it was the best he ever had. Our server was very pleasant and we didn't wait long at all for our food. The price of the meal was fair and the serving sizes were plentiful. We both had leftovers to take home. The only drawback was that the menu was in Spanish only, but the server translated everything that we didn't understand. We will definitely come here again and again!
