“I called Uniformity Wear looking for a very specific pair of Dickies pants for my daughter, and Asuntha was so kind on the phone that it immediately made me want to come in. In-store, she was incredibly helpful and attentive, she truly searched high and low and found the perfect pair for my daughter.

What really impressed me was how she worked her magic with alterations. She turned what felt like an impossible alteration into something completely doable and she did it within 30 minutes. The turnaround was so quick and the work was excellent. We were genuinely surprised that we not only found the pants and purchased them, but were also able to walk out of the store with them altered and ready to go.

Asuntha is personable, patient, and genuinely kind. The store is also very affordable, with a great selection and excellent service. You really can’t beat that. This will definitely be our go-to uniform store from here on out.”

“As someone who has always hated shopping for new shoes, this place is great. Nick did a great job of helping me out. Found out I'm a size larger than I thought! As many have noted, they have a specific sales process they walk you through, and they WILL try to upsell you on the membership multiple times. If you're firm on what you want though it's not an issue. Can't speak to whether the membership is a good deal or not, as I wasn't ready to try it today. Will consider for next time though.”

“I had not used a tennis shop in a while and came up on Sweet Spot. Alfredo (believe name, will double-check and update) from the get-go was friendly and helpful. One can tell Alfredo likes tennis and helping people with their tennis needs! The latter, to me, is helpful in these businesses, people who want to help. So I dropped off the racquet (have two) that I have been using for the last 8 or so years. I don't play too often now.

Alfredo helped figure out a string, since current strings have no info on them.

When he returned to get the frame that was restrung, Alfredo gave a nice smile and, again, so helpful. I waited while another customer was enjoying talking. I waited and then Alfredo helped me.

While I was waiting while other customer started talking again: I found grip that bought.

The customer ahead of me and myself got to spin the wheel on some sort of giveaway they are doing. Isn't that great! No, I didn't need free things to support a business, but these things really can make the customer feel appreciated when business goes above and beyond!

The above was an experience I had having a shopper(this matters so much too sometimes more) so I shared it and here is the specs on the shop

“Hands down one of if not the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I was ordering online since I’m out of state and had some questions concerning the website and product availability. Jan from Bob’s worked with me for more than an hour over the phone to make sure I got everything I needed and was Super quick and efficient, you can tell that he cared. Also shipping was fast. I’m writing this review about a month after our interaction (I don’t usually write reviews), but I had to make sure to leave a one because they were that good. Definitely gain a customer for life.”

“This is a terrific company in my opinion. We purchased our tennis tutor machine (with external batteries) in 2019. They have been courteous, friendly, and always available when I have had questions. A couple of years ago I had an issue with the charging device. Although the part was beyond the warranty period, Sports Tutor informed me that should not have broken down, and they replaced the device at no charge. Today I replaced the 2 batteries and had questions about best storage and charging practices; they patiently answered all my questions. I'm so glad we decided to buy a Sports Tutor tennis machine.”

“I stopped by here at Tactical Pro Shop this evening and I am very satisfied with my experience.

Firstly, when I called on the phone, the person who answered whom I assume was the owner was pretty firm with his speech. Not sure if he’s always like that, but I didn’t really take it as rudeness. To me it sounded like the guy has been there for 20 years of experience and knows what you’re looking for and goes straight to the point; no time wasted. If you’re someone who wants to be spoken to like a child, go somewhere else crybaby.

Secondly, they had exactly what I was looking for. A holster and gun belt for my 4.5 Echelon with a TLR-1 HL-X light attachment. The holster fits pretty good for the price. I’m pretty happy with it. It’s not perfect, but that’s because the Echelon is just now getting popular, so manufacturers will eventually make more things for the Echelon later down the road. Not a fault of the store; they had exactly what I needed.

Thirdly, I wasn’t going to write a review, but the young gentleman that helped me out, (handsome Persian guy), with my shopping. When I paid for everything and left the shop, he ran down the block and caught me before I drove away and handed me the tools for my new gun belt I purchased. They could have just allowed me to move on with my day; I didn’t even know the tools came with it, but that made me want to write something for this business.

The owner of the place has had it for 23 or so years. I like his straightforward approach. No singing or dancing around the topic. Like I said, if you want to be treated like a princess, go to a restaurant and bother a waitress. Come here for real business.

“Went here looking for thermal underwear for my wife. Unfortunately they only carry the waffle pattern which would be fine with me but my wife wanted smooth thermals because she wears stretch pants a lot and says it would show through. Considering what we paid for smooth thermals at Target the waffle pattern ones at Big 5 were half the price and the much bigger selection.”

“Pros: affordable, great outdoor experience, lot's of options, full service: dining, shopping, practicing. Staff is friendly, professional, and helpful.
Cons: can get really busy, targets not maintained diligently, and bays need to be better fenced to prevent casing flyovers.

“I visited this big 5 location for the first time the other week and found the staff to be enthusiastic, extremely knowledgeable, and eager to help. The most memorable part of my visit to this store was my encounter with one of the employee’s named Cole. He made sure I felt welcomed and the we find the “perfect hiking shoe” (in his own words) together! Another plus I saw while trying on my shoes, a family with a special needs son walk in looking to buy shoes. Cole was calm, collected, and extremely patient with the son making sure to be extra careful. As a father this made my heart melt and realize what true customer service and hospitality really is. I finally finished my visit in the gun department hoping to see what guns they carried. After speaking to the manager (I believe his name was Jeff) who was also really helpful and nice informed me they no longer carried real weapons but still went out of his way to recommend me a different gun store. I look forward to coming back to this location many more times in the future!”

“I visited the LA Kings Ice Burbank for the whole hockey season to watch my four adult children. It was always clean, people are friendly, the times of games were always on point, ice was always in great condition. It's a great place to watch adult hockey games if you're looking for some entertainment. Free parking, free to get in to watch Adult League. I learned the game of hockey and became a lover of the game. Good job staff!”

“I had an outstanding experience at this baseball sporting goods store! From the moment I walked in, the owner (whom I did not know was the owner till the end) was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the sport. He took the time to help me find exactly what I needed, whether it was gear for practice or equipment upgrades.

The selection is impressive; everything from gloves and bats to apparel and accessories. The store is well-organized and easy to navigate, which made the shopping experience even better.

What really stood out was the customer service. He went above and beyond to answer my questions and offer helpful recommendations without any pressure to buy. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and the sport.

If you’re a baseball player, parent, or fan, this is definitely the place to go. I’ll be coming back for all my future gear needs. Highly recommend!”

“Yesterday first time visited Big 5 Sporting Goods with our son. It has a variety of items. Upon arriving we were greeted Goodday! Approximately 5 times staff came to ask us for help and they were very pleasant. Twice I asked them about the Puma Rebound Layup but they didn't have in the size for hubby and then Puma tights. You can tell the sneakers sold out quick, especially as Easter. It didn't have much to choose from. Finally was able to get a sneakers for our son. It was Shaq ? for our son which he liked. We would definitely visit again.
