FOUND Hotel Carlton, Nob Hill is a beautiful and clean hotel, described as a hidden gem and a very pleasant stay. The rooms are generally clean, comfortable, spacious, modern, and well-maintained, with nice bathrooms and appreciated amenities like a little fridge, ceiling fan, and luggage lockers. The staff receives consistent praise for being super nice, extremely friendly, very helpful, accommodating, and professional. Some guests noted challenges with noise, mentioning thin walls, a lack of sound insulation between some rooms, and street noise from passing cars. A few rooms also lacked air conditioning, which could be an issue during warmer weather, and some minor inconveniences like no clock in the room or limited TV service were mentioned. The hotel requires a deposit upon arrival. The location is on a residential street, very close to the Tenderloin area. Most guests felt very safe, even as solo travelers, and did not encounter many issues, though common city awareness is advised. While there is no on-site bar or wine happy hour, free coffee is provided in the lobby. Many guests would stay here again and highly recommend it.
Very good for the price, rooms were nice and clean and the security was super friendly. And very close to everything

Staff was great. Hotel location was a bit too close to the Tenderloin area for my liking, it feels a bit run down nearby. Also very little noise insulation in the room - it was super loud, hearing people scream and throw things throughout the night and couldn’t sleep.

Location is not bad, service is decent and rooms are clean. The beds are not the biggest. Price is sometimes a bit high for this hotel. Overall good.
