Hotel Adagio, Autograph Collection, is a charming hotel located near Union Square in San Francisco. The hotel features a friendly and accommodating staff, providing excellent service from check-in to check-out. Guests have praised the breakfast restaurant staff for their attentiveness and the delicious food served. While the building is old, it has been well-maintained and showcases plenty of character. Though the hotel is centrally located, some guests noted concerns about safety due to nearby shady districts and homelessness on the streets. Parking is a significant drawback, with fees as high as $75 per night, though some affordable options exist nearby. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with guests appreciating the housekeeping services. However, not all rooms come equipped with refrigerators, though the staff is willing to accommodate requests. While the bar offers good food and drinks, some service inconsistencies were reported. Overall, Hotel Adagio stands out for its exceptional staff and convenient location, making it a suitable choice for visitors seeking a mix of comfort and accessibility in San Francisco. Guests should be prepared for some higher prices, particularly regarding breakfast and parking.
This is one of our first choices for a cheap place in the city (not always cheap). Beautiful historic hotel, which means decent water pressure and hot showers. Rooms are nicely appointed. Beds are comfy as are the pillows. You can connect a laptop to the tv.
Staff is always great.

Great service and the rooms have some upgrades since last time. We love it here. Just close to the seedy areas of SF tenderloin so you do have to deal with that.

Top notch service, and the room is phenomenal. I arrived early, and they were able to get me into a room. There were perks! A couple free cable car tickets!
