La Luna Inn is a perfectly adequate hotel with clean, normal rooms that are a good place to lay your head, though some are on the small side. It offers a wonderful stay with fantastic, kind, and helpful front desk staff during the day who make guests feel at home and are very accommodating. However, the night front desk staff can have a nasty, antisocial attitude. The location is awesome, perfect, and convenient, close to everything including the Marina district, Presidio, and an abundance of restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable, decent, and spacious, with everything spotless, beautifully updated, and very comfortable, providing outstanding value for the price. Some details, however, are not perfect: bathrooms can be small with showers that feel a little old, and the internet is unreliable, slow, and disconnects randomly. Rooms can also be quite loud from outside street noise. Despite an unassuming exterior, it is a great spot for a wonderful stay.
