Surf Motel offers a simple and affordable stay in a prime location near San Francisco's attractions. With rates under $100 a night, it is particularly convenient for those exploring the area, with many food options and amenities like a 24/7 gas station nearby. The motel features clean rooms, equipped with a fridge and microwave, and some guests appreciate the hot water and functioning air conditioning. However, it is important to note that the facilities are worn, and the property shows signs of age. While some guests mention issues with parking and the key cards, others find check-in smooth and the staff friendly. Noise can be a concern, typical of city motels, but guests report that it quiets down overnight. The cleaning staff has received mixed reviews, with some guests expressing dissatisfaction with their interactions. Additionally, a strong smell of cleaner in the rooms has been noted, prompting some to keep windows open despite outside noise. Overall, Surf Motel is a solid choice for budget travelers looking for basic accommodations while enjoying the sights of San Francisco.

I like this place it was quiet and close to lots of food options. Service was nice, and they do except debit cards for the deposit.
